Horrible Service, EMployees looked extremely bothered when asked for help and the both didnt no how to do anything . I asked for help with a product and was basically told to find it myself or the worker says i dont think we have that , i have seen that , go look over there. As well an older elderly lady asked for help to same worker and the worker asked me to show her cause she was looking for same item and she just looked appaled,. THen when i said im just going to the Larkin store, Worker said fine i bet they have it there. Complete Trash working here

February 12, 2025 – 9:00 AM – AutoZone Shorewood Location
This morning, I visited the AutoZone in Shorewood to return some items I had purchased earlier the same day. I had my receipt and the debit card I used for the purchase in hand. However, the store manager, Dan, denied my return, stating that because I had used Apple Pay, he could not process the refund.
I then asked for store credit instead, but he refused again, claiming that I needed to present a physical ID—even though I had my driver’s license number and ID information available. At this point, he had denied both a refund to my debit card and the option for store credit. He told me there was “nothing he could do” and that my $83 was lost.
Frustrated, I called AutoZone’s regional office to report the situation. After speaking with the store manager’s superior, I was told that “Loss Prevention approved the transaction.” However, I was only refunded $74 because Dan claimed that a hose I had purchased was already cut—by him.
This is not the first negative experience I’ve had with Dan. Every time I visit this store, whether for a commercial or DIY purchase, there is an issue. His behavior is consistently unprofessional, and I believe he discriminates race against certain customers. AutoZone needs to address this ongoing problem.

Needed a signal bulb. Forgot to check which one, front or back. Was about to go check and guy told me I can’t know which signal bulb is out without taking the bulbs out of the headlight… went outside turned my signal on saw which was out. Not purchasing the bulb here when the staff doesn’t know what they are talking about.

Went in here to get a bulb changed and every other AutoZone I've ever went to change that with no problem but when I come here I was told no immediately by the store's manager and said it's at their discretion but I definitely felt a racist vibe from him

The guy here lied to me and told me I had to get my car battery taken to a shop and that no auto parts stores had my type of battery. Called a dealer and they told me that wasn’t true. O’Reilly auto parts carries the battery that I needed. I found all this out after having my battery die and needed to get a tow. Wish I had not taken advice from this place.

Cashier told me to throw some grease on the lightbulb connectors to keep them from rusting, then without asking me scanned a packet and threw it in the bag. didn’t realize he charged me for it till I got out the door. Taking my money elsewhere next time.

A grey shirt named Dan likes to get loud and belligerent to customers. Will not be doing business with Autozone anymore

Customer service was great. The store was clean and dry inside even though it was raining outside. Easy to find and purchase the items i needed. Also made a return that was very simple.

Would give zero stars if possible. Didn’t have my daughter’s debit card because she is a student living in Missouri. Said they couldn’t give me even store credit for a defective part, then refused to give me a warranty replacement when requested and told me to leave and go elsewhere. Zero. Stars. $180 paperweight is what they sold me and refused to make it right. Definitely would go elsewhere.
Edit- went to Plainfield location and was refunded cash! Go there instead and avoid this location.

Worst customer service, do yourself a favor and go to either of the two other autozones in the area. This place had worst customer service ever. Makes sense now why so many bad reviews
