It is a terrible bank, I regret having changed here, you want to make a report and they put thousands of obstacles in place for the bank to return your money, they give you one number after another to make a claim and in the end no one helps, you go to the bank with the hope that they can help you. solve it and after waiting for an hour they tell you that they can't and there is nothing to do, terrible bank without a doubt

I should've read the reviews prior to arriving. I waited over a hour to be seen. People walked through the door and you guessed it....saw a personal banker before me!!!!Wow just wow!!!

BOA is too big to truly care about their clients. BOA corporate will do whatever they want with your account. While the branch employees just shrug their shoulders if you have an issue.

Expect to spend 30 minutes EACH TIME YOU GO FOR ANYTHING INCLUDING THE OUTSIDE DRIVE UP.They have the slowest service of any bank I have ever had an account with. They have this thing where they have someone walking next to customers asking what are you there for. If you are making say just a deposit then they will walk you over show you how on the atm. Problem is that most people need to do other things and have to talk to a teller. It makes no sense that their line will always be long and that employee ends up just making small talk when they could have said employee running a teller window. This is every time you come to this branch. Therefore don’t come if you want it to be a quick transaction. Now the ATM outside. That is a usually a time problem too because of the constant malfunctions. There is two and one or the other usually has a rip El therefore the line will always be long. Also the atm machines on the outside drive up often take the debit card. It will get stuck and then the machine will be down for everyone else that was waiting in the car line behind that person. It’s taken my card twice and I did not insert it incorrectly. The manager himself has told me it’s just a common thing at this location and he doesn’t know why it happens so much to so many people here. The service I will say they have one positive thing going for them. If you are a Spanish speaking customer you will always have someone that can take care of you most their employees are bilingual in English/Spanish.If you want to open an account or do anything with an agent it will always take a very long time and you need to make an appointment ahead of time. Even with an appointment I’ve had to wait over an hour each time to talk to the financial reps and at times I just leave. I closed most of my accounts here and just left one open for a specific need but I now do all my banking elsewhere because it’s just not well ran.I think it is management that simply is terrible at managing the location.Employees are friendly just slow. It’s the only branch near home, that’s the only reason I am forced to go to it.

There is always a long line at this location no matter when I come in. There is usually one teller only and the drive through is permanently closed. This location seriously makes me reconsider banking with Bank Of America. I can’t get in and out of the place to make a simple withdrawal or deposit in under 20 minutes most times. The ATM outside is always filled up with customers too if it’s even working

This bank NEVER answers their phone. I have called 15 times and get no one! My mother is being scammed and they have access to her bank account. Thousands of dollars are taken from her account each month and it's somehow not flagged for fraud?! Every other bank she's had cancels her cards constantly except this one.

First, I would like to state that I've done business with BOA for over 20yrs. I'm in the area from TX. I came to this branch for a cashier's check. I walked into the bank and there was a worker standing near the teller's line, she looked in my direction but did not say one word to me. No one greeted me at all. Waited in line for 5min and cashier didnt even say, hello. One of the worst experiences with customer service I've ever had. Absolutely Shameful and all I see in response to the negative reviews are "sorry" instead of we're working on training our employees to have common customer service practices. The people you hire represent BOA name.

Went to put a check in from a business account from 2019 that we just got from the IRS And we dissolve the business. They were unwilling to help. This is not the first incident that we've had at this location. I would not recommend Bank of America to anyone. I will no longer go to this location and I will be closing all of our accounts.

I'm ashamed of the staff here today.I've done business with this company for fifteen years, and some of the employees there have known me the entire duration of that time.I've withdrawn well into the six-figures just within the last year at this location specifically, and they absolutely know who I am.I had my wallet stolen over the weekend, and am still in the process of getting all of my credit cards and ID's replaced, which they were aware of previously. They absolutely refused to allow me to withdraw $350 (or any amount) of my own money despite having extensive knowledge of who I am and what I'm dealing with. They found ways to make exceptions and help me earlier in the week, so apparently they got tired of being so helpful. It would be different I'd walked into a random branch and requested this, or if they hadn't made exceptions for me in the past, but for some reason *today* they felt committed to doing (or not doing) their jobs (depending on your perspective).I really didn't want blatant laziness or an act of betrayal today in addition to a major theft this week.So hopefully $350 was worth losing a high six-figure long-term client over. And I'm sure that I'll get some feigned generic reply stating that "we have policies in place to protect all of our customers from X event, and making exceptions isn't in the interest of their safety."Which would be fine if that behavior was consistent, but it isn't.I've been loyal to this company for a decade and a half, even when most of their branches remain closed despite the pandemic having long concluded. As a productive way to end this, remember, whether you're a customer or an employee, no company is loyal to YOU.Do what's best for you despite them.

Been using Bank of America for all of my adult life and this hands down is the worst location. No type of common courtesy nor are they helpful.

Went to the BOA at Joliet to make a cash deposit and was turned away because the only cashier that showed up went to lunch. Very disappointed, one of the biggest banks in America and no cashier to take care of its customers. Will be looking at other competitors to make a change. It's time to break away from the big corporations and go local!
