About El nuevo Supermercado y carnitas Jose
Carnitas Don Jose y Supermercado is a convenient local store with good prices and delicious food. The service is friendly and helpful. Many call it the best carnitas in Joliet and Illinois, with customers driving from out of town to get them on weekends. The freshly made tortillas and spicy, on-point Salsa Roja de Molcajete are also recommended. The store is clean, organized, and carries a variety of everything, including many fresh items not found elsewhere. However, some note that the majority of the supermarket items are overpriced. It is a new go-to place for many.

First time trying these carnitas, best ones I’ve had. The usual place I get my carnitas didn’t have them ready this time as I go early on Sunday. I’ve passed this store many times and heard they have great carnitas. My new go to place as I don’t have to deal with the bridge and trains .
