Update:The general manager of this location, Bryan, told me they would be sending me a $300 check due to my disappointment of my experience. It has been three weeks and I have not yet received a check, nor is he responding to my emails.Would give 0 starts if I could. From buying my new car and having the manager sweet talk/ swindle into me thinking features were being included when they were just added to the fees, to having a hitch installed that I was told would take 3-4 hours to put in but have now waited 10 hours for - terrible experience. You always hear buying a car is a frustrating experience but I would never recommend this dealership or service department. Poor communication, lack of care.

Good dealership overall. Always clean, and the staff are always ready to help. Service department is fast and reliable - and they won't screw you over like other dealerships might.

Manny was my service guy. He was very personable and professional. He handled the recall for my car and got it taken care of farely quick. ( as fast as the parts got there ). Vince was my advisor. He took care of getting me a loaner while my car was there. My experience was great! The girl who answered my call ( Molly, I think ) was very nice and professional.

Wanted a headache-free car buying experience, but ultimately didn't find it here. Hawk Mazda attempted to sneak in the cost of VIN Etch ($399) when they presented the first set of figures. Easy money for them if you don't notice. Also, be aware that VIN Etch is not "mandatory". You can cancel the theft protection plan for a full refund, if you do so within 60 days. These types of practices are deceptive and fraudulent, and people deserve to know what kind of behavior they can find at Hawk Mazda.

I just bought a used vehicle from this dealership and had a great experience. Jerry was easy to work with and wasn't like a typical pushy salesman. On top of that, the original quote I received for the vehicle was $5k less than a quote for a similar vehicle I had received at a Honda dealership in Chicago. I highly recommend buying from Hawk Mazda!

I could not be more pleased with the 5-satr service I received from the Hawk dealership and especially Bryan Lieser and Dan McCarthy. Their professionalism and customer service was incredible. Dan was just a guy you could easily talk to and relate with. Not once did I feel the typical "Car Salesman" stereotype from him. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and to make the whole car buying experience (which I usually dread) an absolute pleasure. I can't recommend them enough. They definitely earned a lifetime customer.

I was an out-of-state customer for a new Mazda CX-50, and I couldn't have any better experience. A clear upfront pricing on the phone (with a discount on MSRP), holding car for two days, no push on add-ons and services, and more importantly, patience with all of our questions when we arrived there to finalize our purchase. I talked to several dealerships in the vicinity of Chicago, but none felt reliable and true to their words as these guys. I totally recommend them to anyone in search of a new Mazda.

We had a very disappointing experience at Hawk Mazda last week. Confirmed by telephone with an internet sales rep. that a specific CX-5 was at the dealership and available to purchase, and was quoted a price so made a next-day appointment. At appointment we were told the car was not on the lot, but in transit, and already had a deposit placed on it by another interested party. No apology for the telephone "miscommunication" or our inconvenience and no offer to assist us in finding the car we wanted. Potential buyers beware....

Everyone here was so friendly and helpful! I haven't had the nicest experiences with people at car dealerships in the past so it was super refreshing to get to work with people who actually cared about working with me. James was incredible and helped me get a great deal. He even helped me with all the intricacies of the new car and made sure I didn't forget anything in my trade in. The little things really add up!

Have purchased 4 new cars from Hawk Mazda and have always had an amazing experience. They have always been honest, fair, and worked to get me the best deal. They have a great team of professionals. Salesperson, Ernie Principe is responsive, patient, and listens to your needs as a customer. Sales-manager, Bryan Lieser was honest with pricing and did not try to up sell or put any hidden costs in purchase. If you want a positive, honest, stress free experience go see Ernie and Bryan.

Fantastic experience. Manny in Service took care of me from start to finish. He kept me informed and got me out in a timely fashion. Nice clean showroom and service area. Definitely recommend getting Mazda service performed here and if you’re in the market for a new Mazda, the sales staff will take care of you.

Over this past weekend, I had the luxury of doing business with Hawk Mazda. We went in knowing what vehicle we wanted to discuss, set up an appointment and they had it pulled up ready to look at. Danny D was our salesman and was nothing but fair, reasonable, and helpful. I'm an educated buyer, and Danny D treated me as such. We didn't play those dealer "games" like I played at other north shore Mazda dealers earlier that day (yes, I walked out on them after 10 minutes). It was a very straightforward negotiation at Hawk.After finalizing the deal, we were off to financing. Again, this is where most dealers like to play games with add ons, fees, etc. There was none of that! It was a very clean transaction and not a stack of paperwork. A few disclosures and a contract to sign.It was a Saturday, so the place was busy. I can see why. Great customer service is everything in any business, especially those with a negative industry rap. And that is what I was provided.If you are in the market for a Mazda I would chose them without hesitation. They do offer other brands at locations throughout the area, so I'd also look into that if Mazda isn't the brand you are looking for.The entire team at Hawk that I dealt with couldn't have been any better.
