Writing this review due to the outstanding service i got from an employee as this is the first time I have ever shopped at Journeys! Before I had come in I witnessed a customer get very mad at the lady that was just trying to help get her a shoe which the customer proceeded to call the employee racist. When i walked in that same employee helped me and she was so very kind and in no way did i feel she was racist at all! I had felt so bad for the way she was treated but even after that she treated me with such kindness and positivity! Great customer service! I didn’t catch her name but I will be coming back because of her! These are the shoes i got!

Recently went into the location in Joliet mall I was instantly met with aggression
And racism by a coworker named Kaitlin. I was simply trying to try on a pair of shoes and she refused to allow me because I initially grabbed my size in a display hoe which I have done multiple times before and was not aware of them having a policy against it. Once she aggressively and rudely informed me I immediately removed the shoe and stated I was sorry and she should have led with that. She immediately got irate with me so I turned around to leave she mumbled something about her breath which sounded like a racial slur. I do not recommend this location I have spent way too much money with them to be treated this way. Something needs to be done.

Got my last couple New Balances from here and the crew over there are always super helpful! They didn’t have the shoes I wanted in store but they were happy to order them and delivered to the mall which was really convenient for me! Thank you 🙏

i went in today to pick up some shoes i ordered. kaitlyn was amazing & so, so kind & sweet! very helpful & apologetic for the issues i had with my order that i didn’t mind at all! such a nice experience!

The staff is super helpful and friendly. They also reassured me that they will never run out of converses. I got two really cute pairs of shoes for a great price.

First time coming to Journeys in a long while staff here was absolutely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Fair variety of shoes in stock and they can order shoes for you as well. Great variety for men, women and children. Store is clean as well, usually very quiet.

Been to a few stores shoe shopping yours was the last stop for me, honestly must say i wasn't expecting much of costumer service from retail store as pretty much everywhere I go it doesn't exist or just sucks! The guy working in your store- unfortunately I don't remember his name was awesome and definitely seemed like he cares about people. My advice to you is keep him happy keep him there. Great experience.

We went today for my daughter birthday, to get her some shoes as a present. I believe the emplyees name was Gabriel, i just have to say how awesome of an experience they made it. She had so much fun with her cousins, I am truly grateful.

We were at the Louis Joliet Mall in IL location on 24 October 2022. I got the rainbow Heydudes. I've always wanted to try these and they are so comfortable!! Our cashier/salesperson employee #679137 was so sweet and accomodating!!

I went in to try on a some Converse for a wedding. The female associate was very, very helpful, pleasant and professional. She explained which boxes had which sizes and styles, because she brought out various boxes because I wasn't sure what my size was.

Disrespectful staff, unprofessional management, and the stores manager Breauna M. got to go out and party more than run her store. There were time where I as a CoManager was expected to work 7/8+ days straight, WHICH IS ILLEGAL in Joliet, Illinois. The manager blatantly brags about getting "obliterated" on her MANY days off while the rest of the employees getting paid significantly less having to pickup THE MANAGERS slack. Even McDonald's pays more for better benefits and proper treatments.
