I ordered 5 sweatshirts for Christmas gifts this past holiday. The shirts were ordered two weeks prior to and was told they would be delivered by December 21st at the latest. It is December 27th and still no shirts. No tracking available either. Called customer service prior to holiday and was told they were sorry but the shirts had not even been shipped. As a crafter I always preferred Michaels but my days shopping there are done. After all the money I have spent over the years in that store I am through shopping there. When I asked what they were going to do to keep me as a customer they offered a $5 gift card Michaels, thanks for ruining 5 Christmas gifts for 5 different people

Beyond Terrible customer service‼ I visited this location on 21 July 2023 between 9:30-10:00 am. It was hard to find anyone to help and when I finally found them they were unwilling to help. Although the item I was looking for was supposed to be available in store, they were not willing to check where the item may have been since I wasn't finding it on the sales floor and kept saying we don't have any left. I informed them the site said there were 12 available in the store and they insisted it wasn't there without wanting to verify. One went as far as saying we don't have any garland left when the store was full of garland, summer garland and even more. This is the second time in less than a week I've received horrible customer service from this store. The first time it was one employee, the second time it was two employees, including the one from first visit. The unwillingness to help is evident not just in what they're saying but also in the blond with ponytail employee's facial expression. The same expression she was giving me during the first encounter but I ignored it and walked away while talking so she would follow me in the direction of where the item was supposed to be. The interaction wasn't pleasant as she was telling me the obvious without listening to what I was saying. In the end, the item I was looking for was in the stock room. This second visit is my last, I will spend my money at stores willing to offer customer service should I need help finding items.

Awful customer service. I bought many items today and I had to return 2 color items AND exchange them w/different colors. Other stores make it easy to exchange. THIS place returns the items, gives me back $1.19 store credit for 2 items who I paid around $10 for 1/2 an hour ago. I throw away the store credit. I will make sure my wife, kids, all my relatives stary away from this place.

Awful customer service in the framing department today. No one was at the counter or in the back room when I arrived. Called out 3 times, no one came, no bell, etc. Employee was headed to the bathroom and she flagged down the person. Unfortunately she had less than charming personality / customer service skills. Her attitude just turned me off completely. I was willing to spend good money to have a piece framed and she gave me very limited options, made no comments, offered no suggestions - truly awful customer service. I did a lot of work on the embroidery I took to be framed and whether she liked it or not, really could care less, she should have been accommodating and made suggestions. Will not return there. Used to be an older lady there who was very accommodating, gave suggestions, helped immensely - she was wonderful! Right now you have the wrong employee working in that department.

Giving this store 4-stars for their efficient check out process on what is known as the busiest day of the year, the Saturday before Christmas. They had 4 cashiers and a single file line that went back half way to the end of the store. Here's how they addressed the issue of getting people checked out as quickly as possible. They had an employee walk the line of waiting customers with some sort of hand-held machine where she scanned a customer's purchases, bagged them and then gave them a card with their purchase information scanned in. This way, as each person got to the next in line position, their cashier only had to scan the customer's card, which listed all of their purchases , accept the payment and print the receipt! You're on your way because your purchases have already been bagged. Next in line, please. Good customer service on the busiest day of the year.
