I had a very frustrating experience at this U-Haul location. I was overcharged for mileage on my rental, and what should have been a simple fix turned into a headache. When I called to resolve the issue, I was told to come back in person. I did — with proof that the mileage had been misread — but the employee on shift refused to help, was dismissive, and told me I needed to call corporate instead.
If you’re going to tell a customer to come in, at least be prepared to address the issue. The unhelpful attitude and lack of accountability were disappointing. I have no problem paying for a service I use, but I refuse to be overcharged!
On a positive note, U-Haul’s corporate office was much more helpful and assured me the issue would be corrected. I strongly recommend choosing a different location if you need a U-Haul — this one is not worth the hassle.

My son was attacked while getting things from his unit and the office tells me they cannot do anything. They cannot even view the video of the attack without a police report. That makes no sense. She went on to say they have never had any complaints. Listen you are lying! I just called you with a complaint.

Very rude customer service. Went to another U-Haul place and they didn’t have a cargo van and they found me one at self storage world. Call them and they tell me they don’t have anything available and don’t know when it will be available. When it’s available online. Not helpful at all. Should really get some useful people in there.

Terrible customer service & experience I believe her name was Victoria but who knows if she told the truth . She broke my review links so I couldn’t even do a review experience was so terrible. She charged my card twice .. then when I tried to get a copy of my receipt she refused and hid my receipt. Started getting hostile with me after she messed up and was just all around rude.

Daughter made a 2 day reservation for a 20’ truck to be picked up and returned at storage world on a Saturday morning. Called on Thursday to make sure I could pick it up in her place. They said corporate was trying to locate a truck and would call on Friday to let us know where to pick it up. Sat on the phone for 2 hours Thursday night trying to get through to corporate. That was a failure. Called storage world on Friday and 1:00 and my truck was confirmed and it was confirmed that I could pick it up. Show up Saturday morning and Storage world says corporate changed my reservation to a one-way so they couldn’t fill my reservation. I leave empty handed. Call corporate and after being on hold for 43 minutes my call is disconnected. At 3:00 I call corporate once again and after being on hold for 18 minutes I get an agent that tells me my truck is sitting at storage world and they don’t know why storage world said the reservation was changed. Corporate confirms that I can pick up my 20’ truck at 3:30. I’m then disconnected before i can speak with a manager regarding the price. I call storage world to let them know I’m on my way to get the truck and guess what?? They don’t have a truck. They say that my reservation was removed in the morning after they didn’t have a truck for me. Another call to corporate goes unanswered and I’m letting it go for today.Bottom line is corporate says a truck is there, storage world says corporate screwed up and I’m left without a truck to move my daughter. I’m beyond livid.

They claim they maintain the building which isn't true. If they did our things wouldn't have gotten water damage due to not maintaining the building which is also part of the roof.
We were extremely upset due to what's been ruined, when asked for a different unit they refused due to the way we reacted to what we found. They new there was a leak because their staff personel on Sunday, June 7, 2020 told us, and it was a unit right near ours. They also stated they had NO obligation to inform us so we didn't even know to check our unit.
This is bad business, and I would think twice if they state they only have upper units since they have false information and do not warrent their half of the contract by maintaining the building.
If you don't have things that are waterproof and mold resistant, I would seriously think twice about handing over money to a company that just wants your money and doesnt think about their obligations.
Yes, I will be filing a complaint with the B.B.B.

My son rented a unit to store furniture and it was all ruined by water in the unit. Insurance paid for about an eighth of what the furniture cost. He was then told that it was up to him to haul it away or pay them to haul it away. I attempted to call and pay them to haul it away and the lady on the phone was more concerned with whatever else she was doing and not paying any attention. I called back and same issue. If anyone from the company could muster some professionalism and would like to take my money that would be great.
