I am very happy with the service that Jackson Hewitt has provided. Their staff is very knowledgeable and have guided me through some situations that arose. I have been going through Jackson Hewitt for many years and have spoken with Liz and Sue, amongst others, and have always have great service.

There was a $50 new client special I qualified for based on their terms and agreements. But wasn't given that price. I was charged around $500 which is 10 times the amount. I will never again use them and would highly recommend no one else us them for something as simple as filing a simple return.

Advertisers as $49.95 for basic return. Once you are there they didn't ask me any questions just entered W2 and then...big surprise $615.00. Can't believe in a company that defrauds hard working American people out of there money. They are trying to get illegals to file with them in chance of getting $14K. I'm sorry but if you don't pay into the tax system why should you get anything!

Shell was awesome she helped us with future question for anything we need to do for future filing. Appointment was on time and wasn’t even an hour and we were done!!

I will not be returning to Jackson Hewitt. The person i was given did not take their time when filing my taxes or thoroughly reviewed. She told me I owed 1100 to the state even though I told her I'm military. Military in Illinois are exempt from paying state taxes. I called later that day and they said they'd look into it and call me back. I did not receive a call back. I called 2 days later to get the news that the state Owes me 250 instead of me owing the state 1100. They did not offer me compensation for their mistake either. I am dissatisfied with the company as a whole.

I dropped off my paperwork to file, the next day stopped by, signed the documents paid my service charge & was done. Simple as could be!

The amount they charge is getting out of hand. This will be my last year getting charged hundreds of dollats to enter some numbers and taking a majority of my refund.
