They're always friendly and helpful. I don't like to read, but the library in Kewanee is so cool. The architecture is so old. Well made. There are areas that are so unique. Three floors of things to discover. If you're in Kewanee, Illinois I'd say check it out.

i called the library for help this morning. I'm researching a potato famine ancestor who lived there in the 1860s. I called trying to figure out how to contact the Henry County Genealogical Society. Doug suggested several resources as well as suggesting the Genealogical Society Facebook page (which I should have thought of myself). He also looked through a file of records, scanned relevant ones and sent them to me. In addition to being helpful, he was courteous and kind. A++++++++

Gorgeous old building. I am impressed with the variety of fiction books and DVDs. The librarians are very sweet and helpful!

Front steps were redone. New Diectpr, new hours - one day they are open til 8p1st Street has handicap parking and elevator for wheel chair recipients or anyone that cant take the steps.

The library is a really amazing place. It's like going shopping. My kids love to go there especially the children's floor. Everyone is always so willing to help ! And they have amazing activities for the kids!!

Friendly service. Lots to choose from. Free DVD weekly check out. Great books including large print, and audio books. Computers avaible.
