I have never had a bad experience at deans. Staff is all super friendly, store is always clean, and they are always stocked. The ice cream part of the store is nice and the ice cream is good.

Ice cream selection isn’t what it used to be at Dean’s. This is now the 2 scoop $5 waffle cone. Ice cream was old and counter was not clean. Not one to leave bad reviews, but this was not good.

Always friendly and great service, I was skeptical about the pizza since I had never tried before but I was blown away by how good it was and will be ordering again soon! Again great service and a better overall experience than was previously there.

I have never had a bad experience going into Dean’s, even now after new owners have taken over. They are a beautiful couple and SUPER NICE! They’ve added all sorts of new inventory like vapes and foods! They still sell ice cream as well for those hot days on the lake!! (Me personally, I’m waiting on the strawberry restock 😍). They even offer a small variety of grocery items if you don’t want to go to town or dollar general. They are currently working on getting the slots put back in as well!!

I’m usually not one to leave bad reviews, but tonight really annoyed me. We looked up what time they closed and it said 9 pm. We got there at 8 pm and as soon as we pulled in the worker turned the open sign off and locked the door while looking at me walking to the door. If you changed your hours, then you need to make sure all your stuff is right. Thanks.

First they have the essentials for a weekend getaway when you've forgotten or ran out. Second they have great fresh made to order pizza and deli sandwiches. The staff is very friendly, social and helpful. Pricing is average but possibly a bit pricey on things that only they have locally without running 15min to Walmart in Carlyle. I'm willing to pay the little extra.
