We stopped in to pick up prescription food. They didn't have what we needed, but the person assisting us found two places that had what we were looking for.

This year the service has been awful. Now, it doesn’t matter if you have the best wellness plan they offer, they are including in every visit a “vet fee” whenever they want, so you truly never know how much you are going to pay.For example. Health certificate is written as included in the wellness plan, I did not pay any extra fees for this in the past, but now they added a “vet fee” of $83.00 plus taxesSo be aware of these “vet fees” because they can add them wherever they want no matter your plan

It was a very good experience from the beginning to the end. Moving from Arizona back to Chicago was a monumental task and knowing we were able to get the same great care for our Ernie that we received in Arizona was a big relief. Thank you to Banfield Pet Hospital!

Horrid place. Made an appointment for Bullitt my German Shepherd, drove 40 minutes to get there and they say you have to leave her.... for 6 hours! So much for having an appointment. The vet did NOT help my dog and the medications were not correct even when we suggested that she might need antibiotics. Bullitt's condition got worse over the next 48 hours and I took her to an animal hospital where she was treated correctly.Avoid this place if you love your pet.

Thank you for taking my dog for a same day sick visit. She was up all night coughing & sneezing after a recent stay at a kennel. She started her meds, & we're very grateful for your great care!

The 2 instances I had with this Vet at this location have been unhelpful, frustrating and I leave empty handed and he really just seems to want to make money with unnecessary procedures. With both of my cats all he seemed to recommend was biopsies that would have caused much trauma to both of them. I went to see other Banfield vets and called an ER hotline and their plan care was complete opposite. I tried to avoid this location but my cat was hurt and he was the first one available. I left with no plan of care on what to do with an open wound on one of his paws and all he told me was "let's do a biopsy on both front paws." Thankfully I got squeezed into another Banfield Vet that gave me answers and a plan of what to do without causing any trauma to my kitties.

Dr Johnson at the Kildeer Banfield is one of the most rude doctors you can find. He doesn’t prefer to be explain the diagnosis for a dog owner who wants to keep their healthy. I would strongly recommend anyone to be careful before their adorable pets in the hands this man. The doctor called us to force to get his blood work done without any reasoning and when I asked why, he felt painful to explain. What BS is this?

(Update 8/24/2022) Well the story continues Banfield Corporate refuses to talk to me keeps pushing me to the Manager at the location who just keeps saying I hear your frustration but there is nothing we can do. You call Customer service you get the same thing please e-mail BanfieldCares. There is something you can do cancel my plan without charging me the rest of the plan and stop telling me I used services yes I did but no where near the about $300 i have already spent in monthly fees. Well a file report has been filed with the Illinois Attorney general consumer affairs office.Worst place ever. They are in it for the money and don't care about your pets. I tried to walk in with my Pet to have a growth looked at and was told it would be two weeks until someone can see me Yes I do have a plan with them. They then told me to go to an emergency Vet. At that point I said I pay you monthly to be able to see my pet in a timely manor. Don't take your pet here and don't sign up for the plan becasue they lock you in for the year and you can't cancel without penalty. Now I'm stuck paying for a plan I can't use and going to a different Vet that I have to pay as well.

The people at the facility only care about pushing unnecessary tests and medication onto your pet for a profit. We had an appointment for a routine dental cleaning and 2 days before we got emails and texts about prep for the operation. Both correspondences we're directly from petsmart saying no food 4hrs before the day of. When we brought our pet and said he had food 5 to 6 hours before suddenly we needed nausea medication deemed necessary because according to the staff it's our fault for not waiting 8hrs. Which was not on any email or text. Then we needed to reschedule or risk having pneumonia develop if we went without it. This was incredibly frustrating because PetSmart or Banfield are 100% responsible for that error. They should have covered that medication if they deemed it necessary. Then we rescheduled and they let us know when he was ready. The voicemail only said that everything went well and he was good to go. Upon arriving apparently due to another PetSmart issue he wouldn't be ready until hours later. To get him they needed to create a legal document for an early release. It is very strange how this document wasn't necessary if we wanted to do the cleaning a few days earlier when we had that food issue. At this location it seems evident that the bottom line is what important, not the pets.

Nothing like being made to sit and stay for an hour to put your pet to sleep.Id like to say she went peacefully but I'm sure the trip there, the fact that it took a half hour to be seen, and the fact that they had to run an IV all of which sent her heart rate theough the roof made for a GREAT end of life transition. That said the doctor was kind and the staff friendly. Just saying, could have been better
