A shallow, cheap quality shadow of what it used to be. Find another men's clothier if you even can anymore. Tailored Brands (The second acquisition after Men's Wearhouse's clumsy takeover) has further turned a great brand into a pastiche shell using the once great name in clothing to sell a junk, way-overpriced product line--the not-geniuses completely missed, misunderstood, and obliterated the concept of an American haberdashery. All the clothing has been radically cheapened with most made in China of inferior, no, cheap quality (inferior implies some level of quality) replacing what used to be quality Joseph A. Bank clothing--you can go to Kohls and pay 2/3 less for the same crappy quality. The un-geniuses at Men's Wearhouse should have listened to "You're gonna like the way you look" George Zimmer, the guy who founded that company, before they ousted him, and left Joe Bank alone.

If you like Jos A Bank clothes like I do as a loyal 20-year customer, do yourself a favor and order online because this store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Twice now including this week, I walked into the store and none of the store staff said hello or even recognized the fact that I just walked in. They weren't even busy when I went in there. Totally ignored. I fitted myself with two new sport coats and felt guilty completing the purchase, thinking to myself this is rewarding bad behavior. Even the check-out clerk couldn't be bothered to do the basic thing of all businesses which is to make it easy to take the customer's money when he has made a decision to purchase. He was finishing folding clothes and not even a 'be with in just a second'. I told him this is the worst customer service I ever was subjected to, he mumbled what might be an apology, I couldn't even understand him. This store should be closed and its staff fired, they obviously have no business doing this sort of job and should find another line of work.

I have been a Jos A Bank customer for at least 20 yrs. Shopped all the time at the Schaumburg IL location and always had a positive experience, great service until it closed. Then I started shopping at your Deer Park, IL location. Big mistake. The last two times including today, no one even greeted me when I walked into your store. This time, no one stooped to even help me find two sport coats to fit me. They stood around talking and one behind the register, processing returns or something. I felt uneasy buying those 2 sport coats, like I was rewarding bad behavior. At least I didn't get two matching shirts or have the coat altered in-store, took them to a dry cleaner right afterwards instead. I feel really betrayed by a brand whose clothes I like very much for the past 20 yrs. Time to say goodbye to Jos A Bank now and try out Men's Wearhouse which is more convenient for me anyway. I cannot say that I had bad customer service. Because the customer service was simply non-existent other than taking my money at the end of my shopping trip.

Went in and was attended to by Diego after waiting for 25mins for another sales representative to attended my needs. That guy the one who kept me waiting kept serving other people and completely ignoring me this was After he told me he'd be right with me. Served at least 3 or 4 other people in the meantime. Granted I went in severely undressed testing Tim's review below written about a year ago. Turns out Tim was right. Only redeeming part I found was Diego who took care of me on a whim of hope that I probably wasn't wasting his time. Diego spent about a hour with me explaining everything another person is Raphael he was a great man who also helped tremendously. Note to any other employee you never know who you come across and who they know and what that person truly makes. Pick up any single sales book and read it it'll do you wonders. Other than the first 25mins of waiting with ample staff to take care of me. I will still give it 4 stars.

Terrible service. We bought two suits from Jos A bank and we’re happy to hear they also did alterations. Worst mistake we made was getting alterations from Jos a bank in kildeer. We live an hour away and we needed to go back a total of 4 times to fix mistakes they had made. The last time we called ahead of time to ensure it was ready since we have a far drive and we’re told it was ready. When we arrived they had my fiancé try on the suit with pins still in it. Turns out it was never done. No apology was given and no refund offered. We decided to take our suits elsewhere and had to fight for a full refund. Extremely disappointed with the service. Do not get your alterations done here !

First time tux renter and Claudine was very patient and helpful with making my experience very pleasant. Claudine is very friendly and kind. Attentive and kind. Thank you very much Claudine for making my first tux rental experience one that will have me coming back again. If anyone that is unsure and inexperienced in buying or renting a tux. I recommend going to the Kildeer location. Awesome job.

I cannot speak for the rest of the store, but we had the best service from a young man named Luke! If businesses had more Luke's they would all be successful. Luke knew what he was doing and worked tirelessly to get my husband the suit he needed. Luke had to order pants for us, so we will have to go back, but overall Luke made this suit buying experience very easy! Thank you Luke!!!!

Nice clothing for my husband to west to work but we have been the only ones in the store for over an hour and three sales staff members have completely ignored us. One mumbled hello. Zero assistance. And when asked questions they answer in as few words as possible in mumbles.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. My husband and I were the only customers in the store. There were three saleswomen chatting at the cash register, none of whom were willing to assist us. My husband went several times to ask for guidance but they acted like it was a chore. We ended up purchasing almost $200 worth of clothing, which was crumpled and shoved into a bag. Worst customer service ever. My husband loves their shirts but I doubt we will ever go back. I hope management is aware of how their team drives business away.

Don't shop here if you want good service. I tried to return a Jos. A. Bank branded shirt for another size. Same shirt. It was purchased my daughter as a Christmas gift. It had all the tags except the price tag. I even brought it in their own bag. They refused to exchange it because I did not have an account there. Raphael was completely unhelpful and rude. He did nothing to try to please a customer and then had the arrogance to tell me to "take it easy" when I told him how unbelievable this was. Don't shop at Jos. A Bank if you care about service. No wonder retail is dying with service like this.. #josabank #village of Kildeer

Went in on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and there were 2 women taking care of customers. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They made the purchase of the suit a pleasant experience. Thank you Alexis and Evelyn

Terrible store. Walked in with at least four associates ignoring us despite no other customers. We finally asked for help and clearly we were putting the sales associate to way too much trouble.
