I had such a wonderful experience at the USPS today thanks to Donae! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a genuine smile and a friendly attitude, which honestly made such a difference. She helped me with a return, walked me through certifying a piece of mail, and even took the time to schedule my passport appointment.
What really stood out to me was her patience and kindness. At other locations, I’ve sometimes felt rushed or like my questions were an inconvenience, but with Donae, it was the complete opposite. She made everything simple, efficient, and pleasant and I truly left feeling grateful for her help.
Thank you, Donae, for going above and beyond and making my day a little brighter. You’re an example of what great customer service should be!

Service as usual for USPS, rude and lazy. If it happens that scheduled delivery is on Sunday, they just mark that package was delivered, but they actually never even show up, because it is industrial area and they know that all businesses are closed. I don`t blame them for not delivering on Sunday. but don`t mark that you delivered it, because next day you loose or forget about it. I had packages lost because of it by them.

Such rude customer service today, but I guess to be expected from a post office worker. The entire staff goes to the back leaving customers waiting. Not a big deal but once the Indian service rep starts to talk to me I can’t even understand her. Then she plain out rude when I ask her questions. Tell me they cannot add a unit number to deliver to. Who does this. Instead of explaining or being sympathetic she’s just escalated the issue. She shouldn’t be working there, this is why the post office has had issues for decades they always hire the wrong people to work for them. My package will not even arrive I’m
Guessing. There was a survey that came up in the screen with faces of service n when I hit sad and poor she told me I knew you would do
That. That’s not her business what I rate, and plus she just admitted she was doing a poor job. The post office will not do anything about this as there is no accountability nor any management!

On 7/30/25 around noon I went to the post office to inquire about renewing my passport. I have not had to do this since 2011 and was not sure the process. The lady at the front desk could not have been more rude. She informed me I needed an appointment. I would have gladly taken the appointment offered to me for Friday. She did not make it. Instead she pointed at the desk to fill out a form. She told me I could go to Walgreens and get my pictures taken. I thought this was great! When I was finished filling out my packet, I went back to the desk to ask what I should do next. It was then the woman began yelling at me, screaming I needed to get my photos taken and then I could mail it in. Before I could ask about how to get the packet sent, she threw a cardboard envelope at me and told me ‘I don’t care how you mail it.’ I would call and complain to the USPS but no one answers their phones anymore. Please beware of this monster and watch out for employees throwing objects at you if you risk entry at the Lagrange Post Office.

the large woman with glasses and a mask is always so hostile. Asked me if I was dropping off a package which I was, it just had to be scanned. She refused to take me and said “ok so you’re NOT dropping off a package” like if you hate your job you know you can quit right? No need to be so adverse…

We love the way we taken care of at this location, as this is where our houses mail comes through. Most of the employees know us by face and names for the most part.
I will never understand the front counter staff, as they see customers in lines and do not come to help, please explain the thoughts.

I use too like going there but they only had one person behind the counter. I couldn't get waited on since some lady was holding up the line with questions.

Don’t go there for passport services. Extremely rude, not even bothering to help or explain. I was shocked by the attitude and rudeness of the employee on the first window (older white lady) had. For a moment I wanted to ask her why is she so rude but then I figured that will be me coming down to her level so I just left. The Hodgkins Libary were more than pleasant and fast in processing my passport application.

I ship things regularly and have made a point to avoid using this post office. Staff is extremely unhelpful and rude. Government employment at its finest.

I went to get my daughter's and my passport and they no longer wanted to attend to me. I had the appointment at 12:15 pm. I arrived at that time with my daughter who has autism and she told me that I had to make another appointment to get the passport. because they were no longer going to serve me... 03/30/24 The truth is that the employees need to be nicer to customers.
