“I’m planning a cycling trip and walked in to ask questions on preparation for a long trip. The knowledge and patience to answer my questions was beyond generous. I felt more motivated and capable to be able to do a long trip across states from my conversation here.I also got my bike serviced and couldn’t complain. If anything, I’m sure my bike is better now thanks to Hub and Cycle. And I needed lights badly, break pads, and my handle bar fixed. Purchased Ravemen LR500s with rear red light. It works nice with trips around city or suburbs. On the trail at night pic below.And if you are cycling lots around Chicago area, it’s a great place to stop and get your bike serviced (if needed) and get food while you wait. Get the raspberry sorbet to cool down.Thank you for being a source of motivation. You’ve energized me to keep going further.”

“Salespeople and Servicepeople were very helpful. Was buying a bike as a Christmas present, the one on the floor had a little scratch, they went back and exchanged it for a perfect one. Then said if size wasn't quite right exchange would be fine... even a month later. Would recommend highly.”

“Very nice shop! All the staff was very friendly and very helpful.Earlier, that day I walked in, my daughter had blown a tire on her bike. With bike camp continuing the next day, I had to find a place to fix the tire fast. George Garner Cyclery in Libertyville, was the shop for the task!The tire was fixed in about 20 minutes. A wonderful shop and so glad they could help.”

“As a long-time customer of Lifestyle Cycles I felt compelled to post this as a response to Vaishnavi ‘s recent review. I was in the shop waiting for my repair to be completed when Vaishnavi entered the store. I will be brief with my summary:1) The staff was very professional in providing Vaishnavi with an explanation of when the repair could be completed AND why her son’s bike could not be completed immediately as she very rudely demanded.2) Vaishnavi, in a very unfriendly tone, then proceeded to accuse the shop of performing poor quality work with poor quality products. Immediately, it was evident that she knew nothing about the work that was required nor the product itself. All you needed to do (which I did) was look at the sidewalls of her son’s tires to realize this was not a result of workmanship, but rather the day-to-day abuse that most bikes take while being ridden by a kid.3) I was present for the entire conversation, and at no point did the owner or his staff speak crossly to Vaishnavi. She was the one raising her voice and aggressively pointing her finger at the owner with her false accusations.4) Lastly, Vaishnavi accusing the owner of treating her in a racist manner is an absolute lie. It sickens me to think that with so much true racism and hatred going on this world, she had the nerve to make such a false claim, which only trivializes the fight against racism and bigotry we are trying to support.”
