Lake Bluff Hub and Cycle is Lake Bluff's premier bike shop for knowledge, parts, service, and more. It operates primarily by appointment, with a doorbell in the elevator lobby for access to the basement shop. The helpful and pleasant staff is very knowledgeable and provides professional service, often completing work quickly and at good prices. They carry a full line of bikes and accessories and can handle a wide range of repairs, from fixing internally routed shifter cables and bleeding Magura brakes to servicing suspensions and adjusting handle bars.
The shop is also a great place for motivation and preparation, offering generous knowledge and patience for questions about long cycling trips. Other services and food vendors are located in the same basement, including a new pizza place with a very cool concept. Customers can get food, like raspberry sorbet to cool down, while they wait for their bike. It is a highly recommended place to stop for service and refreshment.
Affordable, friendly, independent service! I got a flat tire nearby and Nate saved me from a two hour walk home for less than the cost of an Uber! Don't go to a chain store!

Was out on Des Plaines trail and we got a flat. Other places said they couldn’t help me that day… I called lake bluff and within the hour I was back on the trail. Quicker and cheaper than I expected. Will be taking our bikes there from now on
