Best Salon NorthShore for nails highly recommend LF/LB these reviews are old technicians are "picky" about finished product! My nails have never looked better and I probably haven't missed an appt in 40 years. top products and latest applications!

I went first time for a pedicure she didn’t use scrub, no type of attention just clipped, washed, scrubbed. I had to feel the bottom of my foot and she didn’t even use the scraper. They are generic no typo of stones, paraffin or anything. Then wasted $55. After I said something she used the scraper. There’s no reason I paid that much for basic service.Service: Pedicure

First time trying this neighborhood nail salon. Walked in at 2:30pm on a Saturday with only 2 customers in the salon. Closing time posted is 6pm. I was told they have no time to provide me with any service- no explanation. They were very rude. Will never return.

A coworker of mine had been recommending this salon to me for a while now (she’s been going here for 4 years) and I finally went. I’m so happy with the service I got. My nails have never looked better. Very intimate and calm salon and everyone was very nice. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Very rude , upon arrival I was told that it was appointments only and then didn’t say anything else but just stared at us like if we were stupid .

By far the best salon I've been to in a LONG time. This place is closer to my work so I figured I'd come on lunch break. Emily took my appointment. I was ten minutes late and she still took me in. Not only that, she took her time and was very detailed. I never felt rushed at any point. My dip manicure is perfection. This definitely my new salon!

I'm not want to usually leave negative reviews but my experience here several days ago was so bad that I have to say something.I called the day prior and asked if they had an appointment for Sunday. They told me they did at 12:30. I showed up on time and I spent 17 minutes waiting for someone to ask me if I needed help besides giving me the nail swatches to look at. I thought there were only three employees there, one was just in the back doing who knows what that entire time while I sat silently being ignored. Not my business I don't care, I just watched TV.Emily the technician was so nice and thorough buffing my nails, listening to my concerns and putting the tips on. I was not aware though, that apparently when you ask for dip that means that not everyone knows how to do it? Either way, Sam stepped in once the tips were on and he was so aggressive, dismissive and rude and wouldn't talk to me.I don't need someone to talk to me, that's fine. What I do NOT need though is someone so aggressive and seemingly stressed or trying to be in too many places at once that EVERY SINGLE ONE of my cuticle beds was cut or damaged in some way. He buffed so hard my skin ripped open on one finger. The dip was also sloppily applied and I had dip powder and glue on my fingers, palms and around the sides after. He didn't even tell me to wash my hands before he started massaging them and all the nail residue and dust got everywhere. When he went to spray my nails at the end with the alcohol to disinfect my hands burned for 20 minutes after. When I got home I realized how bad my skin was damaged at my cuticle beds and how sloppily it was done because again, every single one of my fingers is cut.I have sensitive skin, I will admit. But I have never had an experience like this and I've had my nails done before, plenty of times. And now, because every single one of my fingers is cut, showering, washing my hands and doing anything with soap and water makes my hands burn, even now several days later. The only upside to this is that my nails look amazing. The nails themselves, the shape and the color and length are perfect. But everything around them is horrible. I paid full price and I even tipped for the time that the work took because it was an hour and a half appointment. But I will never recommend the salon, I told the person who recommended it to me what happened and I called around and I found somewhere else to go that will not make me bleed, repeatedly.I don't care if they were rushed, they made the decision to tell me that there was an appointment slot available and apparently just squeezed me in. It is the onus of the business owner/manager/scheduler to realize when there are too many appointments going on at the same time. I never should have been given that time slot because I felt, even though it took over an hour, exceptionally rushed and hurried along the entire time.

Went there as I live nearby. Loved that they seem to take cleaning thoroughly seriously. They cleaned immediately after each customer left an area. Went there before vacation in April, got a pedicure (which is still holding up up 2.5 weeks later!) and a no chip manicure (which is also holding up really well!) I would definitely return for their service. I like that it's a little smaller and they really seem to take their time, which reflects that the nail work lasts.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The space is extremely clean and welcoming. I only get regular mani/pedi's and occasionally gel but, going there for so long, i noticed other types of services were completed quickly and still with great quality. I really like that it's by appointment only so it's never overcrowded and the technicians take their time with their customers.

Would give zero stars if possible! Save your money and go somewhere else. Literally the worst pedicure and manicure I've ever had. And the girl was nasty! Not a pleasant experience!!!!

This was my second time here, and I loved the simplicity of it as well as the service I received the first time I was there, it’s why I returned but the lady that did my pedicure the second time did something I couldn’t get off my mind and I felt like sharing. During my pedicure I got cut up and green solution was pulled out to clean the cut. I didn’t say anything due to the fact that I know stuff like that happens. I got a no chip done and got up to pay to go about my day. First thing she says is “how do you want to tip cash or card and if card it’s 20% extra “ or something. I was like “okay no tip”. She responds “ do you have cash then?” I said “ no tip please” she then looked at me, smirks then turned to whisper in her coworkers ears and they both laughed. Now I have no problem tipping those who go above and beyond the service that I came in for. But making it seem like a requirement to tip you is disgusting to me. You are not owed tip for providing basic service( ESPECIALLY AFTER CUTTING ME)! That was rude and made me feel lesser than. If it’s a requirement to tip your workers please put that on your website. I’m definitely finding a new place to go.Service: Pedicures
