When I mentioned my contractor's first name, the person working at the counter told me that no, that painter actually uses a different product. The fact that he listened, knew my contractor, cared enough to have a conversation, and got me the right paint is great customer service. To them, the sale was only a gallon of paint. For me, it made a big difference. And very friendly to boot!”

“This store is the best! Where do I even begin? I have been a customer here for years now, and I can confidently say that I have never in my life received better customer service anywhere. Drake and James are always on top of their game and it shows in their work. Every time i've needed a color match they have never failed me or my customers. On top of that, if I need an order ready before hand I know if I give them at least a 24 hour notice they'll have it ready for me to pick up the next morning, which is really import to me. I especially love the battery operated shades for the kitchen windows. I am able to use a remote to raise and lower them. I would not be able to reach them easily across the counters.”

“This is long overdue, but I wanted to give a shout out for the service I received at this location. I needed to have some SEM-brand paint (Warm Gray) matched to a sample part I painted with a rattle can. One of the women that worked in the Waukegan location did a phenomenal job matching it for me. The original mix formulation for a quart size specified by the manufacturer wasn't quite right so she was accepted the challenge to manipulate the color to nearly perfect. I wish I could remember her name and give her full recognition.”
