I spent $40 for a 20 (!!) minute pedicure and I was shocked to find out they don't even use a pedicure liner for the bowl you soak your feet in. So much for a pish posh place. Never coming back.Service: Pedicure

I've been going to Prismatic for years, and love it. It's such a classy, cozy little shop right in the heart of uptown Lake Bluff. It has changed ownership over the years and remained consistently great. June did my Dazzle Dry mani and pedi today and her attention to detail was fantastic.Services: Sculpted nails

My sisters and I love going here to get our nails done before special events. Staff is soooo friendly and they make a simple manicure/pedicure feel like a full service spa treatment.

Great place. Talented nail artists, massage chairs & a decent movie is always playing with captions. I get regular spa mani/pedis & they last 2 weeks easy. Pedis more like a month. I'll always go here for my nails.

This place is small, but very nice and clean. They had a decent selection of polishes. I got the spa pedicure, which included a minty leg mask, paraffin wax dip, massage (not counting the nice massage chairs), foot soak and scrub, with nail trim and cuticle trim, and foot "buffing" (callous remover). The quotes are that I felt that they didn't quite remove as much of the calluses as I would have preferred; my feet still feel kind of rough, even after all of that. Other than that though, this place is pretty nice. It does seem like the majority of their clientele are rich regulars, which can kind of make you feel out of place, if that doesn't describe you. A little on the pricier side, too.Services: Foot massage

Always a pleasure to have my nails done at Prismatic!! Pedicures come with an optional complimentary massage from their massage chairs... bliss.

I went to Prismatic nails for the first time recently and upon arriving thought it might be my new spot. However, one of the technicians cut my cuticle by rapidly and roughly using the nail file on my cuticles. I started bleeding a decent amount and instead of apologizing she tried to cover it up and then tried to get someone else to finish. When I mentioned it, instead of saying sorry she just tried to glue it. I understand cuts happen, but the fact that they tried to cover it up and only apologized once I said I didn't need them to finish was off putting. I'm left with a pretty large gnarly cut on my cuticle. I can certainly I won't be returning and don't recommend going.

I just moved here and tried Prismatic Nail for the first time as I live close by and wanted to support local businesses. When I arrived for my appointment, the staff was incredibly rude (even when I was friendly and tried to make conversation), I wasn't asked what type of pedicure I wanted (I was hoping to get the deluxe but ended up getting a basic that was rushed) and they rushed my friend next to me to the waiting area after her pedicure and the salon wasn't even full. The entire process lasted about 20 min and it was $52! I go to get a pedicure for the very little 'me time' I have as a mom and this was a waste!! I will go back to Lake Forest to get my nails done from now on.
