The Lake Forest Symphony is the only professional symphony orchestra in Lake County Illinois. The Symphony performs classical, pops, and chamber music concerts throughout Lake County. Founded in 1957, Robert Kalter and William English founded the Lake Forest Symphony as a chamber orchestra of volunteer musicians. By 1965 the group had over 60 players, and in 1988 became fully professional.
First time to this non-traditional type of concert. Wonderful experience. Look forward to the season! Conductor was very engaging and the musicians were top notch.

Great orchestra, In my opinion this is the best symphony orchestra in Chicago area ,especially under the leadership of Vladimir Kulenovic.
