The staff at True Value in Lake Forest is very helpful and always willing to assist! Whether a light bulb for a microwave or a single screw of any kind, if they do not have it, they will order it. Though, they have a plentiful stock of most items I need.

I was in dire need of a Birthday card and gift box. I had to ship a gift out ASAP. Thought I'd find what I needed at the shipping place but was told they don't sell cards. They directed me to the Lake Forest True Value next door. I found the card and a gift box. They also had drop cloths that I was needing for a painting project and a hostess gift for a cookie exchange I was going to! Wow! Major score- love this place- it has it all!!! The sales guy behind the counter even wrapped the gift for me!!! Super great experience at this local gem!

This hardware store is probably one of the most unique ones that you will find. They have cards, home decor, balloons, candles, and a decently sized toy section besides the hardware. Most of the staff in my opinion will go the extra mile to make sure that you have a positive experience. They just celebrated their 32nd year of being open. They remodeled a little bit, and it was a good change. I honestly think that the a store is worth checking out. Support local!
