They broke my dash cam camera during install and assured me they would take care of it. I sent them photos and everything and then Chris ghosted me. I have had no resolution and I have had to file a complaint with corporate. They did a good job installing the new windshield but the ending experience is what I will always remember.

Just got my windshield replaced on my Honda Civic. The staff, especially Will went above and beyond to help me with some other issues I was having.
Would come back to them everytime. Highly recommended; made car repairs less of a drain.

I had an excellent experience here. The repair was done well and on time. I waited for it and noticed every customer coming in was treated with respect and kindness. They also helped me contact my insurance and get coverage that I didn't know I had! Amazing customer service. I don't want another chip in my windshield, but if I do -I will get it fixed here.

A rock kicked up on the highway and cracked our VW Atlas windshield. Couldn’t get the crack patched because it was over 4”. The VW dealer wouldn’t order a windshield unless we paid for it all up front (even though it was covered 100% by our auto insurance). So, went to Lake in the Hills IL Safelite. Paid $0. Scheduled so they could order the windshield, and it was replaced in two hours. Looks good as new. We ordered new wipers during the windshield replacement too, and the tech let us know our wipers were still good and didn’t need replacement. Honest company and great service. Recommend highly!

This is the third time in 18 months we have driven farther than other nearby Safelite locations because we trust William to service our vehicles. William is professional, takes the time to assess the damage, explains our options, and does a phenomenal repair job. While nobody desires a chipped windshield, William and the Lake in the Hills Safelite location are our go-to for great service and quality repairs.

Great Customer Service. Service To My Car Took About 30 Minutes, Not Long At All. One Of The Employees Knew Information On My Insurance Policy That I Was UnAware Of And I Didnt Have To Pay Anything Out Of Pocket, Highly Recommend!!

Safelite has replaced a windshield at my home and I have been to their shop for a replacement too. Everyone is extremely friendly and I felt the team was very respectful of my property both times. I’m especially impressed with the guys at the shop that took the time to wipe the insides and outsides of all my windows and back windshield - that was above and beyond expectation. The communication was top notch as well during both appointments. Safelite will continue getting my business for all car glass needs.

I needed a windshield replaced and my insurance suggested Safelite. There were a few locations around me, but I decided to go to this location based on the reviews. I kind of wish I went to a different location...My windshield was replaced with a new one but as soon as the work was done I noticed a scratch on my car above the windshield. First, I was shocked that service rep who worked on my car did not notice this scratch. Second, I spoke to the manager who informed me that they will be ordering a touch up paint from Mazda so that I can come back for the 2nd time to get the scratch covered up.Long story short, but it took over a month for a touch up paint to arrive and that was after multiple follow ups since no one from this location was keeping me in the loop (manager even said that he forgot to order paint initially). Then once the paint arrived I came back to this location and the same service rep touched up the scratch. I asked for the remaining paint to be given to me so I can use it in case I need to touch up my car again but he refused to give it to me. Once I got home I noticed that only HALF of the scratch was touched up - I contacted the manage again and he dropped of the paint to me the next day so I can do the full touch up myself.In total, this location was quick but their work quality is very poor with very low attention to detail and bad customer service/follow-up.

The two techs working got me in right away, suggested looking into if my insurance would cover the repair which it did. Repair was done quickly and they even cleaned my vehicle. Five star service
