“Brought my C4 Corvette here the morning of Friday 3/8/24. I saw the shop on the window from train on the nearby MD-N tracks and looked them up online. I've not been happy with several other shops I've used in the area, but this establishment scores a 10/10. Truly family owned, with Dad & his brother working in the shop, and Dad's daughter at the reception desk. Took the car in as scheduled, performed the requested maintenance at a reasonable price in about 60-minutes. Turns out Glenn (the owner) owns a C4 Corvette and knows them well. They also had a '71 Buick Skylark, a '72 Panetra, an '85 Mustang, and a vintage Jaguar in the shop at the time. I was impressed, and will return with the Corvette, and my '11 Cadillac DTS.”

The next day Chris had a chance to inspect and found out there was an issue with the drive shaft that was actually covered under a Ford recall. He contacted the dealer and informed them we would be bringing the van to them for the recall. We appreciated how honest he was and after all that he never charged us anything. “I was two hours from home when my transmission went out. I found this place on Google Maps as nearby to my location and was a walk-in. Sergio and the team were very kind, honest, and helpful. I tried making it home after their help, but only got two miles and had to go back (not their fault!). I needed an entirely new transmission. They were again, very kind and helpful, and reasonably priced. They really helped me out in a bad situation!”

The first set of rotors we tried were already warped, and they made them right when i went back and told them. They were understanding and kind about this situation. Went out of the way to make me stay happy, and it was noticeable.
During the back brake replacement the mechanic caught a spec problem in the rear rotors size that could have created a problem considering the people who owned the truck before me had the wrong size rotors put on for the heavy duty truck I have needed thick heavy duty rotors. There was a noticeable gap, being they were light duty rotors. The old mechanic before town auto either ignored the gap or didn't catch it.
Good catch for Town Auto mechanics. I feel safe now.

“These guys are my saviors. Driving home from work during rush hour traffic my cars engine gave out and I was stranded waiting for roadside assistance and wondering what to do. The owner of the shop was driving and saw me stranded on the side of the road and came out and helped me push my car to the side of the road to a more safer area. He then went to go get his trailer and towed my car to his shop. Very knowledgeable and helped install a engine in the car and it feels like brand new. Very great on the prices and very good work!”
“Not only does this place have the most affordable oil changes, it has one of the nicest lobbies I have ever been in. The couches are comfy, the wifi and coffee are good, bathroom is decent, and it is pretty spacious. Most importantly, all of the auto work is honest and high quality.”

“I'm mechanically inclined and able to do most all work on my vehicles over the years. Got this 95' Honda Civic and it's runs very good until it don't. Changed the head gasket on it myself, then new distributor, wires, plugs, seals and gaskets from head up, thermostat, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, ecm, a lot of stuff. On my way to work (20 miles) I would stop at a gas station to get snacks and it wouldn't start when I would come back out. After a few trys it would start up and go. Couldn't diagnosis the problem myself so I looked up a local automotive shop. They had a good rating which is important because it tells you the experience others have had. Called them up, they towed my Honda to their shop and called me a day later explaining the fuel pump was bad would I like for them to fix it. I was able to pick it up after work.
Bottom line, my experience is they are fast, reliable and do good work. You won't be sorry!”
