Worst customer service. I went in looking for replacement bulbs for headlights and wiper blades. I explained that a well-known brand of wiper blades didn't work on my car last time, after multiple attempts and people trying. But a different employee/location recommended a certain brand which did work. However I couldn't remember the specific brand. The kid treated me like I was stupid and had no clue what I was talking about. Then when I decided to look elsewhere for the wipers, at checkout the kid looked at his coworker (manager Steven T.) and laughed at me then said "unless you know something I don't". I've been in customer service myself for 15 + years and have never treated someone like that. Employee name on the receipt shows Django G.

Clerk was rude, told me to come in when there were two people that could put my battery in. I came in when they were two people. He said he can’t put it in. Went to Wakanda. They put it right in Donna to be specific Lake Zürich flat out lied to me.. I don’t like being lied to as you stare me in the face

I love purchasing my auto parts in this location. They are always very friendly and help me find what I’m looking for. Also they gave me a free kit just because of it doesn’t sell they get rid of it. Thank you!

Great location! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and have helped me numerous times over the years.Really appreciate their time and effort, especially so tonight as I had to get a portable jumper cable kit as regular cables between my car and another weren’t cutting it. The Schumacher SL1611 after charging it fully had my car back up and running in under a minute.Thanks again to this store and their employees, really appreciate ya!

Horrible customer service at this location the staff working there has zero literal knowledge of products and deals in store. Will never ever step a foot in this store ever again. The guys working at the front desk do not have any ideas about the products or offers and definitely are not capable of answering any related questions. I am taking my business some place else.

First, they don't know what they are selling. Second, they sell Chinese junk at twice the price of the original parts. Of course, these fake parts don't work or can't be installed. When you try to return them, they say you damaged them when you tried to install them. The next day I bought original parts, which I installed without a problem. Before buying parts from Advance Auto Parts, check the prices online or at other stores. I will never buy parts from them again!!!!!!!!

Horrible customer service. The guy seemed like he had no interest in being there or helping. I had broken down in there parking lot, they had the belt but it wouldn't fit. I asked twice about the size and the only response I got was "that's the belt the computer says you need" despite it being about 1in short. I went up the road to O'Reillys and although the worker said the same thing initially, he asked what problem was I having with it. Once I explained he said I've got another identical style belt that is 1in longer even though the computer says otherwise. I got the right belt at a different store simply because this store didn't seem to care or didn't have the knowledge to help my problem.

Had to get replacement truck/van battery for work vehicle (Group 78, 800 CCA). Got a DieHard Gold for $209. Brought old battery in so avoided the $22 core fee.Staff was helpful. Business is on 1st floor. Handicapped parking available. No waiting line, just walked in and was served immediately.

I would definitely recommend NOT going to advance auto parts in Lake Zurich. I went there, guessing I needed a new battery. They said I did. First he put in a battery, that wasn't even charged. Then put another battery in, and said there was something else wrong with my car, to go to Firestone in Lake Zurich. I immediately went there, and they called me the following morning to tell me Advamce had sold me a battery, with a dead cell. How couldn't they know t
