“awesome candy shop. typically hate barrington seeing that it’s barrington.. but if you’re there might as well stop in here! the sales lady was as sweet as could be and extremely knowledge. thanks for the great chocolate!”
“Candy paradise with new and old finds. It's a quaint little shop with a cozy atmosphere. The staff is fantastic - they were super helpful and friendly. One of the guys had short dark hair and was wearing glasses, while the other had shaggy, dirty blonde hair. Their knowledge of the different candies and treats was impressive. I always look forward to making the trip from the city to visit this place from time to time.”

“Best apple cider donuts, apple pie in the bag and apple fritters. I have been loyal to apple haus for 25 years. I was so sad when their original shop closed by the Irish store and so happy when I found out they reopened. This is our favorite stop for treats, gifts… Best customer service from Mary!”

“I visited this store to purchase some candy for father's day. The salesperson, Madison, was cheerful and professional. I will definitely go out of my way to give this location my business in the future!”
“I really like this store. They have many choices available, always a couple of promotions and deals going on. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to help. I like their displays too. Great place to pick up presents for friends and family out of town and holidays gifts.”
“The name of this company is a bit of a misnomer; to my knowledge, there is no peanut butter in any of the products. I stumbled upon The Peanut Butter Pig at the One of a Kind Show a few weeks ago, and for this reason alone, I'm so glad that my friend and I went to the food section (I was going to skip it because I knew things would be tempting!).I've had bacon candy at a couple of restaurants in the suburbs, and it's good. But this is better than those places, for many reasons. First and foremost, the restaurants' version doesn't taste as good unless you have it in the restaurant and eat it immediately. The chef at Peanut Butter Pig has masterfully created a treat and designed packaging here that keeps it in peak condition for an extended period. (Not indefinitely, obviously, but I gave it as a gift a couple weeks after I bought it and it was a huge hit.) What alchemy is this? There are five flavors: Sweet, spicy, savory, boozy, and very spicy. Thus far I've been able to taste the sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. They're all so fantastic it's honestly hard to choose a favorite. I especially like the sweet and spicy ones, but I wouldn't turn a single one of them down. She also makes other treats like cookies and Rice Krispie treats with candied bacon bits, fudge... very inventive and all delicious. You can catch them at many fairs and festivals around (check their Instagram!). They also have a pickup option where you can schedule a time to pick up your order at the community kitchen in which they make the goods in Lake Zurich.”
