It's Costco and has the usual Costco things. Parking lot is generally a cluster and getting into and out of the store is almost like dodging traffic on 12. Other than that it serves its purpose.

Guys, beware this Lake Zurich costco prices are at least 20% more than other costco in Chicagoland, not sure why but this is not expected Costco after paying hefty membership fees.

Beware!!!! We purchased Salmon from this Costco from the seafood department and found worms in the Salmon. Absolutely disgusting. This is the second time this has happened from wild caught Salmon we have purchased from Costco.
Called and spoke to someone but they said they would call back……I feel like there should be a bit more concern over this.

I LOVE COSTCO. The samples are always delicious, the staff is kind and efficient, and the prices are reasonable! The customers are kinda vicious with the giant carts and in the parking lot. But it’s just because it’s busy. Honesty makes for a funny experience every visit. GREAT!

Theresa was very rude to us and the customer that cashed out in front of us. She was extremely condescending and acted like we couldn’t pay for our items. She also refused to let us use the Citibank Costco card even though we are authorized users. She didn’t even check to see if we were. We payed without making a fuss but this was still a very upsetting experience.

We have been members for over 20 years.
The customers are wealthier but not better behaved. In fact I wondered if they're racist. This year I was seated at the cafeteria, working on my laptop, waiting while my car tires were being rotated. A middle aged white lady asked me to get up and leave because according to her, there were no empty seats. I complained to Pearl in customer service but she didn't care. I asked for the store manager and Theresa came and spoke to her.
A family sitting nearby told me to not leave because there were plenty of empty seats.
I have been uncomfortable going to Costco ever since. We have been members for over 20 years.
Tomorrow we are going to cancel our membership.
Costco has lost its value. Their gas prices are 10 cents a gallon cheaper than outside but if you get a loyalty credit card for say, BP, you will get the same price, without having to pay a $65 annual membership fee.
The prices inside the store are really high - even a Costco staff member told me half-jokingly that it was getting harder for her to eat.
There was a nice family in the checkout line with me and all they had in their cart was the artificially low-priced $5 rotisserie chicken.
This, cheaper gas and the $1.50 hot dog are meant to draw you into the store to buy the more expensive stuff.
The lady told me while they were sitting in the cafeteria that the prices were really high.

Costco is a the place to get gasoline at a good discount compared to local stations, although there is another large grocery store north of here that is much cheaper. You can also get all your bulk items need for home or office. Tire deals are good, but I have found most of the tires I need have been lower end varieties. The car batteries are excellent from my experience. Often very crowded on midday weekends or late Friday. Checkout lines can be 10+ minutes. I avoid self-checkout unless I only have a few smaller items. Their checkout personnel are very good and often they will put it back into the cart or box it for you.
