I Won't never going to visit this place again, they used to do a good job, but since a few weeks ago their service is really bad, I got my nails done on July 7th, on Thursday July 8th I realized one of the nails filling start falling apart, today on July 10 another nail stated falling apart, I contacted them because I am paying for a good service, it has not been even a week and my nails look like I never fixed them, when I reached them out to make my complaint, a gentleman picked up the call and never offered an apology but hung up on me. I was completely respectful with my feedback. it is completely unacceptable , when if their fault since they don't provide a good service, they are rude, as I said no customer service at all, my recomendation will be NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE

I asked for gel nails and they looked great fresh, but only a couple days in and they are crumbling to pieces. The technician used a very small amount of gel powder over acrylic tip, I usually see more powder. The lamp really hurt too which I later read was an effect of curing too quickly, like with not enough powder. I'm so sad that my $65 gel set is gone in less than a week, started crumbling a few days in. I'm guessing this was a confusion about how to do the service. The technician was very friendly and her work on the colored tips looked amazing.Service: Gel manicure

I absolutely love mimi’s, I get their gel manicure and regular pedicure deal all the time! My service is always well done and so affordable, which I appreciate being a college student.I highly recommend if you’re in the Lake Zurich area(:

I would never go back. My nails looked terrible, the place isn't clean and their nail polish is old. So many other great nail salons in the area.

Love this place! Clean and friendly. I've been getting the spa pedi and no-chip every 3 weeks for almost 2 years and never had a problem.

Yeah so nice location I really wanted to like it but DO NOT get acrylic here! The technician that did my nails painted my nail then just dipped it in acrylic powder afterwards. This cause my nails to be weak and not have the correct shape at all (bumpy and misshaped) In less than a week i have had five nails chip off. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD THIS HAPPEN WITH MY NAILS. Why did i waste an hour and a half of my life to have half my nails break off in a week. Now I have to go back before work miss out on time with my child. God forbid i try to pamper myself.

I wanted to follow up my first post, about my fantastic no chip pedicure. I am going back this week for another. It is 4 weeks after my pedicure & the polish is STILL shiny and perfect. My nails are growing out, but actually still look good. I honestly never thought anyone could make my feet look so good, but they did. And btw they were very patient and kind to me. And gentle.

I read good reviews about Mimi nail salon so chose to visit for a much needed pedicure. I am so glad I did! Best experience I ever had at any nail salon. They are very clean, which is always a concern for me, and Claire was so patient, kind, and gentle. I presented her with a challenge and she did a wonderful job. I dont remember the name of the woman who did my no-chip polish but she was very good also. They are thorough, did not rush even though they were busy, & are perfectionists. The hot towels, scrub, oil based massage on legs and feet, & more hot towels felt amazing. I was pampered. I will be a regular customer now.

I went here twice in the past (about 2 years ago) and if I gave it a rating then it would be about 3-3.5 stars based off of quality work and customer service. I went there today because they had a deal $49 no chip mani and pedi...i thought why not? I'll give them another chance for that deal. WOW was I impressed. They were unbelievably kind and went above and beyond to make me comfortable there. My nails look fantastic too. I'll be going back regularly with hopes it is always this good!
