I had such a great experience at the Lake Zurich Post Office, thanks to Jerome! He was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable—especially compared to the experience I had at both Barrington locations. Jerome took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. It’s so refreshing to come across someone who genuinely cares and goes the extra mile. This post office is the worst!!! I have filed multiple complaints and they continue to misdeliver my mail!!! I even have a note inside my mailbox with the address for the dummies!!!! These people cannot read! Careless, unprofessional and unreliable!!! I have escalated to the state and federal level. They need to be investigated and fired and shut down this place! The delivery manager needs to be fired. Rude and does not know how to manage anything!!!!

We have a package delivered to our house, nobody was at house at that time , when my son went to pick up the package they did i not give it to
him because the package wasn’t on his name even
his driver license had it the same address, Rude USPS worker ripped off the notice in front of him
and told my son the package was going to be sent back to the sender. PS 2 weeks earlier my son pick up a package that wasn’t for him or on his name and they released the package to him.

I Applied for passport with expedited service on dec 17 . I was told it will take around two weeks to get it with the plan to travel Jan 5
The us travel a office revived the application on Dec 27 (10 days to shipp expedited service ?)

I live 5 min away and I literally go to a post office in another town because the service here is so bad. Especially the older Indian gentleman, he is very condescending and rude. We had a disagreement once about how something should be shipped, took it to another post office and no issues. I came back a couple months later because I didn’t have time to go elsewhere and literally from the moment I came in the door he was staring me down. It made me so uncomfortable. And of course I got called up to his counter and he immediately gives me attitude. I tell him I will wait for the other employee to help me. He literally inserts himself into my transaction from across the room, telling the other employee how to ring me up. Had to call his supervisor to get him to leave me alone so I could mail my items in peace. I will NEVER step foot in there again unless they fire that man.

Bad customer service
I’d stay far away from Malik who is always working the front desk
Super rude, snippy and just all out unhelpful.
The guy treats everyone like they’re less intelligent then himself and the guy behaves like he is a hot shot. I fail to see why working front desk at the post office would qualify him to think of himself that highly over others.

Sent a quarterly State tax payment on June 1. Five days later the payment came to MY address even though the envelope was clearly and correctly addressed to the Illinois Dept of Revenue. I re-mailed the payment and the check has not been cashed in over two weeks. Will call the IDOR today to see if they ever got the payment.

We are so thankful for this facility! We had another post office cancel our passport appointment an hour before. One call to this Lake Zurich location and Ivy was ready to help! They had an opening and saw us the same day. We can’t thank you enough. Processing was pleasant and photos were easy.

This is the third time we’ve received someone else’s mail… and now this is the second time our mail has been sent else where…. Not sure how this gets messed up and how this continues to be an issue.
