Asked 3 associates where to find tummy relief for a child. None of them knew or offered any type of help. I left with nothing. Found a Walgreens the next town over where they were more than happy walking me directly to the item I needed. Piss poor management needs to hire better people and actually train them.

The store and associates were great. The outside wasn’t shoveled well and snow was a little frustrating to walk through after it hadn’t snowed in over 4 hours. I wouldn’t even mention this normally.
The worst part was their delivery truck. I was parked in a parking spot across from the front door. i finished shopping and got into my car to pull away when a semi pulled into the lot and parked in front of the front door. This blocked me in for 20 min while they delivered their load. Long enough for me to try to call a manager and go through all the prompts via the robot operator to talk to a human… just to be told the manager was unavailable. Apparently there was an area manager meeting. Not sure why this Walgreens takes deliveries in the front door but don’t expect to get out if you’re unlucky enough to be there during a delivery.

Love this location! Went there recently to refill a prescription, and the pharmacist was able to help us a find a great price. Staff here is always friendly!

The pharmacy is horrible. The employee's are nice but they do NOT ever have your medication and they will literally not update you for weeks , had my doctor switch it to the one on rt 176 and they had the medicine in stock and fill on a Sunday. Something is very wrong at the pharmacy . I don't understand why they couldn't just tell me to switch, or the other store had it or even go get it or order it from another store?

I came at the end of the year to finish my FSA. We went thru every item to confirm it was covered by FSA, even if that meant she had to put back 30% of the items. Always nice

Went there twice within a 12 hour period and they were closed both times. How is a walgreens pharmacy not 24 hours? No thanks I'll be changing pharmacies

Usually very good experiences with pharmacy. But today 12/16/23 not a good experience at all! Needed a shot refilled so I gave my pharmacy a call yesterday. They said they were out and it will be in next order. Not stipulating delivers don't happen on weekends. Call pharmacy again this morning. Got in touch with fill in pharmacist. Who was rude on the phone! She tried other Walgreens no luck. Then she tells me I have to call other pharmacies to see if they have what I need. Well I got lucky first pharmacy I called CVS in McHenry has what I needed.This pharmacist was very rude and very pushy like she did not want to deal with my situation.Was not Amy, or Sal the regular pharmacists it must of been a fill in who was taking care of this in a very poor way!!!

Excellent experience!! I transferred a prescription here from McHenry Walgreens and the experience was night and day. They were so helpful, caring, and kind. They actually have time to care about the customer. After a week of trying to get a prescription from McHenry that they never filled despite telling me they would, Lakemoor transferred the medication and filled it in just a few minutes. This will be our new pharmacy going forward!

WALGREENS HIGH PRICES - RIP-OFF I have been going to the Lakemoor Walgreens for 12-13 years. A lot of stuff was always too expensive there, but I went to get soda. chips, and the stuff on sale. From now on I am officially done with Walgreens and their price increases. 3.29 for 2 liters. 5.29 for a rather small 1/2 bag of chips (8-9 oz.) What a rip off! From now on I will only go there for my wife's medication. And that's it. This isn't inflation, it is simply greed on the part of Walgreens Corporation. Get this, everything is cheaper at Thornton's now, which was always an unbelievable rip-off, but now is cheaper then Walgreens!

I know this is the age of drive-thru but the one in Lakemoor, Illinois is particularly slow. I'm guessing understaffed. And fairly dumb and inattentive. Jhad scripts to pickup. Got them and when I got home I only had two of three. Called listened to the auto phone answering and then they hung up on me. Had to start from scratch on the phone. Still have make another trip to get third script. Gonna move all scripts to CVS. Walgreens needs to worry less about shrinkage and more about keeping customers!
