They pay custodians $600 every 2 weeks here. I worked here for 2 months, and it’s not worth it at all. Weird racial undertones against hispanic workers from the lady that hired me and the maintenance workers. Be wary of this place.

The worse experience I have ever encountered the stuff if under trained and does not know any information. First, I give a star to the young lady who was a friendly and kind-hearted receptionist. Now the low rating is given because I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the integrity of a particular manager/supervisor. I can't tell you the name of this person because she never had the decency to address me regarding her decision to my request. I was distributing and posting fliers about my school, Agape Christian Academy, to preschools, residents and churches. My school will house kindergarten and first grade, school-aged children. INSTEAD of passing out fliers to parents entering the building, I wanted to be legal and respectful so I asked the clerk if they will permit me to post or leave a flier in the lobby. The kind young lady checked with a manager, I assume. She consulted with another woman, who obviously took time to read it because I could see the flier in her hand and it took some time to respond. The young lady ( receptionist) returned and told me "No, and have a good day." In that there was a line of people waiting to be served, I did not follow-up on it. As an educator, it is a habit for me to always tell a student why I made a decision so they can understand. If, whoever this woman is and whatever her title, was the one with authority to approve or disapprove my request, then as a professional please next time have the integrity, decency, and professionalism to kindly explain to the customer why you made that decision. It is not the no/disapproval that disappoints me, as much as the lack of courtesy in telling me why she made that decision.I am a resident of Lansing and a homeowner so I pay my share of taxes for municipalities and park districts that hire people to work in these public places to serve our community. All I need, is a reason why it was disapproved?Thank you!Walk in love!

Going there as a kid was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Management had a bone to pick with their own customers, I guess. Hopefully management changed since then, but I'd still never go back on principle.

It's a great facility with nice staff and a spacious gym. The ac/heating has gone out a couple times while I was practicing volleyball.

I have always had a good experience here with everyone from the teachers down to the engineer staff but the experience I had today was upsetting to say the least. I called looking for the program director and after giving my name, I was asked if she knew me personally. Very confusing. Why would I need to personally know the director in order to speak with her? This is a business and I don’t think such a question should have been asked. Made me wonder if I had called her personal phone. Very strange question to ask. I guess if she doesn’t know you, don’t expect a call back. What else is there to think?

Lan-Oak Eisenhower is slimy and desperate for money! Signed up my child for play school which I unarguably now regret. Provided a deposit and only paid for the first month. If you didn't know Lester Crawl will test and accept your child free of charge if they qualify for their state granted program. The child typically has to show signs of delay with no guarantee of being accepted as my other children once tested and were not accepted. It's a process. Two weeks prior to the end of our paid month, Eisenhower staff barred my child entry because we did not provide a voided check and signed a signature to the policies to continue with the program for the following month.Leading up to this, it was communicated to staff the possibility of being accepted to another school. They reassured us it wouldn't be an issue. We provided the check not knowing if we were going to continue going to Eisenhower. They informed us not to worry, simply notify the superintendent. Which is exactly what we tried doing which later became a debacle after we were accepted to the school that can address our child's needs with speech therapy. Things did not end well as this heartless superintendent refused to make herself available by person or phone. She threatened us with collections via e-mail basically holding our 3 year old hostage for another 9 months if we dropped out of the program. Emailed all 5 board members to intervene, none replied. I decided not to blast Eisenhower on social media for the last 2 months waiting to see her next motives.Well, I just received a collection notice today for 2k the full amount of 9 months plus fees obligated by a contract. The contract aka signature that we would read the policy that states "can be changed at any time" and strangely also says "not a contract" has the original monthly authorization payment form. We never provided the signature until our child was refused entry by orders of the superintendent. That should have been an indicator of red flags but staff once again made it seem it wouldn't be a big deal. They probably knew it was a trap. We stopped going a week early of the already paid first month and they decided not to take out any monthly payments out of our account.We will never give them a dime or business ever again. Very nice clean friendly helpful staff hardly ever crowded just had my knee replaced the pool is a perfect temperature hot tubs on a weight room what more can you ask for under 30 bucks a month!!!!

The gym is smelly at all times, and even do the schedule on their internet homepage shows they are supposed to be open on Sundays, you get there and it's closed without a notice ! You would expect something way better for $345.00 annual membership!

The facility is nice and all areas are always clean. Especially the locker room and pool area. All staff are always pleasant and great you with a smile. Melissa is especially personable. I truly enjoy the facility.
