At this point I only come to this location because it is 24 hours. For starters, it’s a lady that just talks to anyone that will walk into the locker room about her personal life and everything else. Very distracting and trying to be nice takes up about 15 minutes that should be used for work outs. Secondly, anytime i want to get on the massage equipment, the workers are never anywhere to be found. Thirdly, the massage bed has been down for a month now. This is not a well kept planet fitness.

One of the nicer locations in the area. Everything is always clean and working. The people working their are polite and helpful. The guest are not rude at all. This makes working out easier!

Man I like Planet Fitness and hate to leave a bad review but I travel around and visit many awesome PF around the country. This is literally the most beat up, dirtiest and dated one I have ever seen. All of the rubber grips on equipment was peeling and cracked, dumbbells were missing safety runner coatings, and equipment had paint worn out from use. The rubber floors were dirty, but i think it is just old age and not necessarily staff not cleaning. The massage chairs were the old school coin operated ones. Whoever is the franchise owner of this location is running it into the ground, kudos for any regulars for putting up with it, but the gym in Portage was superior to this one in any way so people should check other locations

It’s great if you like four grown men standing around a machine for 30 minutes not even working out. 😫😫😫 just blocking the equipment.

Interesting day at gym this morning. I couldn’t get into the zone! Trainer, was training an individual and counting constantly out loud. He was literally yelling the numbers. I turned up my headset full volume and couldn’t drown him out. He works for PF, he should be the one practicing gym etiquette.

TREADMILL STOP EARLY & LAZY MANAGEMENT RESPONSE:
So I complained to staff verbally about all the treadmills being capped at 30 minutes, filled out the experience survey about it, only to get a copy and paste email from the site manager essentially saying “let’s talk about.”
A.) Everything was explained in detail *in the survey.*
B.) As a cross country traveler for work I explained that NO other PF location caps there treadmills that short. Even the neighboring PF sites don’t do this.
C.) As a long distance runner I explained how having to abruptly stop a workout and jump on another treadmill is detrimental for athletic progression for every level of fitness (1 hour is the norm, 30 isn’t).
Edit: This is just flat out disrespectful for us who takes running seriously. If men clearly on illegal performance enhancing drugs can get a sufficient workout in the lifting area, why can’t a healthy runner such as myself do so because I’m having to restart my run 3-4 times in one session? Walking or running, distance is about pace, heart rhythm, breath control, muscle contraction, mental focus, etc. and when it’s disrupted too many times, your body sometimes can’t recuperate sufficiently.
