This use to be a good place to park and eat. Now they think they want us to pay to park in a dirt lot with zero security or benefits of paying. Must be why their lot is 1/4 full and no one wants to pay to park and it only hurts the restaraunt. Not gonna stop here again..not even to eat. I've seen small truckstops go out of business soon after they start charging for parking. Big places like TA can get away with it in big cities...no one gets away with it in BFE Illinois. Please stop being greedy.

22Apr 2025: This used to be a good place to rest and eat. Now, they charge for truck parking. I can understand if you want Truckers to spend a certain amount in the store, restaurant or what ever. But, to shake down the drivers to park in addition is just plain greedy.
Truckers and, family &friends of truck drivers should show so solidarity with Truckers who have to put up with so much BS in this industry by avoiding this place.........until they correct the problem.
If you need to ear, the Farmers Cafe at exit 159 serves good food. Hucks, across tge street has fuel.

Used to be a decent place to stop and eat and get some rest. But now I see this place is getting greedy like the big chain truckstops and want big trucks to pay to park. I know I am not the only who thinks this is bad because when I pulled in I could have chosen any spot in the lot because there was maybe 12 trucks in the whole lot!!!!! Stop being greedy and take away the paid parking your truckstop isn't that special!!!!!

Gas pumps either don't work or can only handle one pump at a time. That one working pump took 10 minutes to pump 3 gallons. Wasted my fuel points.

It was a good place to stop after a long day of driving an get something to eat.it is now pay to park.i personally will not pay to park.the costs of owning a semi are high enough..I'm not paying just won't stop there

This used to be my favorite place to stop. But today, I pulled in to eat and saw their entire lot is now pay to park. Never will I stop here again.

Nice n clean place. Newly remodeled washrooms, plenty of parking and nice selection of smoke & vapes. FREE overnight parking if you buy diesel or buy stuff at convenient store or restaurant.

Would give this place no stars charging 10 dollars for parking no info taken license plate number not taken unable to speak English just says 10 dollars parking 15 with shower seems like a scam avoid at all costs feel sorry for the owners of woodys dinner as must be causing great harm to a fantastic dinner parking charging does not feel very american

Hello the restaurant was very good. Perhaps when taking my 34 (Truck driver)at the shell station making small talk with a young lady that works at the shell station had me removed from the parking lot. I was very respectful and never said anything out of the way....( Even told her to be safe going home) !! We even discussed that her mom now lives in MN and she is due to have a baby in 8 weeks. Looks like if she was uncomfortable with me she wouldn't had told me all that. It just upsets me that people can't have normal conversations anymore. She probably should not be working at a truck stop if she uncomfortable with truck drivers because we like to chat once in awhile. Thanks.

This is one of the worst places I've ever stopped there prices are all most double what they are at love right across the way. It sure isn't the ma and pa type place it once was.
