My buddy invited me to the launch of a new deck - it’s the second time I’ve been here. Let me say what a great experience- the owner/guy running the show is awesome and I was really impressed by the selection and incredible experience he provides.

Pricing is the problem here, unfortunately a big problem. *Edit to reply to owner- this all includes the local competitors. AF comics has their starter decks for $16.99….
While the store has a great selection and a good location, their prices literally make you gasp. The tabletop/TCG community prioritizes supporting small businesses, but not at the expense of paying up to twice as much as the big chain stores. Great example, their Lorcana “Starter decks” for the most recent and widely available release are priced at $29-30. Even in other small business/mom&pop comic stores these are $14.99 - $16.99 tops. Now the narrative given here is “we include tax”, but I’ve never seen 76% tax anywhere.
Except the boast packs themselves, all of this places Lorcana is exceptionally high priced.
Love that the place is a hotbed for gamers, lots of deck sleeves/protectors and has an abundance of singles for MTG, but we can’t support these prices in a recession… Target has basic stuff for half the price (new). We kindly bought a boaster pack and the protector case we promised our daughter yesterday, but sadly will never be back. Sometimes you only get one shot to win customers over from competition… today you drove us right back to them. Previous reviews were accurate, we confirm this place is wildly expensive.

I recently visited GameStorm with excitement to explore their Magic the Gathering selection. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was quickly dampened when I noticed the prices were significantly higher compared to other local stores and online retailers.
What's more, the staff seemed completely disinterested in assisting us. While we were browsing, the staff member made four phone calls, barely acknowledging our presence and ignoring our attempts to ask questions or seek recommendations. When we tried to initiate a conversation, they seemed distracted and uninterested in helping us.
To make matters worse, the staff member was quite pushy, trying to convince us to purchase specific products we had no interest in. As a customer, I appreciate helpful recommendations, but this felt more like haggling, which made us feel uncomfortable and pressured.
Overall, the combination of overpricing, poor customer service, and pushy sales tactics left a sour taste in our mouths. I hope the store considers revising their pricing strategy and training their staff to prioritize customer satisfaction and attention.

Only been here a handful of times, but the atmosphere is great! They always have somewhere to pay, a variety of games, and whenever I’ve needed a magic card, they’ve always had it!

This game store is pretty cool. They have almost every cards you need if you’re looking for magic cards. The price is a little higher than other game stores since they’re based off median price on tcg. All of the people who play at this store are very nice and make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this store, if you’re into Magic of the Gathering.

While they didn't have wrestling cards there, if you're looking for those, this was one of the coolest card shop interiors I've stumbled into, Def worth checking out for star wars, Magick and other tabletop games

Gamestorm has a really great atmosphere and accepting culture to new players of MTG and other games. The staff is knowledgeable and nice to people new to games. I'd recommend this place for just about anyone :)
Last MTG draft i went to, one of the staff came to tell everyone there was someone who came late and offered the option for everyone to buy a pack and let the person join. I loved that there was an effort to get more people to join in. Gladly paid for an extra pack, and loved that everyone did the same. It was fun, and loved the fact that the culture was accepting to everyone.

Locally owned and operated this is an excellent gaming shop, they fix PCs they host Friday night magic and they they do it with style.

This place was great. It had way more than I thought it would. They had everything I was looking for. Service was great! The card selection was outstanding as everything I was looking for, they had. I will definitely be back again.
