The Pharmacy part of the store is horrible. The wait is unbelievable. I f you go in the driveup or go inside either way you will be waiting forever. They dont have enough people to take care of customers at a decent time. And they just work there so they really don't seem to care. I waited 20 minutes just to pick up medicne to be told it wasn't ready come back tomorrow we dont have the time today. I needed those medicines today due to a serous condition, they couldnt care less. If you need stuff quickly stay away from this pharmacy and its employees. Go to Target or anywhere else, they are cheaper and a lot quicker. I would not recommend it to anyone. The rest of the store is OK except for their outrages prices. They want to price out like Whole foods but they dont have their products or their quality. Not even close.

Tonight I had the worst experience with the checker Donna. It was obvious when I walked up that her attitude was sour. And I should have taken the hint that her line was empty and the only other checker there had every other customer. But hoping to be done quicker I went to the empty line. I was looking where my raw chicken was and it was placed with all my raw vegetables( the ones I typically eat raw) when I questioned can I have my chicken and vegetables in their own bag I got snapped back that the chicken was already bagged separately. It was placed in a smaller clear bag but still with all my veggies. I said I would like it separate and again I got snapped at that she had done the correct thing . It was very clear from her artisans interaction with me that Donna does not want to be working at Jewel. I have been in lemont for 20+ years and have gone to Jewel that whole time and I have never had a employee at Jewel treat me with such disrespect and that I was wrong. When I worked in retail I was trained that the customer is always right and to work with them. Donna was obviously not taught this and was not willing to work with me.

I really wish your staff would stop staring at me so intently when I use the self checkout. You guys have seen me on regular basis (between 2- 5 times a week for three years). I’m not stealing anything. I’m just black.

Yesterday I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the cashiers in Jewel Osco by the name of Donna. Right when I walked up to the cashier she did not bother to say hello and had an attitude, me and my friend were purchasing a wine bottle, when she asked for an ID my friend provided her an ID that was valid, but Donna said she could not take it and immediately put the wine bottle aside and said she can't sell it. She never had a problem with her ID before and was always accepted , even in this same Jewel Osco just at a different cashier. When we asked to speak to the manager she did not even bother to call them over and continued having an attitude. I am very disappointed as this isn't the first time I've encountered this problem with the same cashier, this has happened before with my mother who as well provided a valid ID but was unable to purchase alcohol.

Where do I start? When you enter you clean your own cart which is fine, but the wipes are dried out and contain little or no disinfectant. The deli woman was wearing her mask below her nose while slicing my chicken. The manager had to come to ring my wine. I told him I didn't want the chicken and explained why. He merely took my chicken, walked over and put it on the deli counter and walked away. I wonder what happened to it and if he ever addressed the mask issue. I have shopped there for 18 years and will never go back. I have spoken and emailed them before about customer service but things just get worse..

By wearing masks during pandemic by people who are working here. I will never visit this store again in my life. The people who working here are extremely rude and have a thousand excuses why they do not bother to wear a mask. In our village this is a state law and just after you enter this specific store hangs a big poster: All people entering this store MUST wear a mask, and I assume that it should cover you mouth and nose entirely. I asked the deli to slice items where no pork has been sliced, I do this allllll the time at an Orland jewel and they are much busier than this one, and happy to do it, but at this locale it was like I asked for their first born.. the layout is strange

Walked in here hoping to be able to sanitize my cart handle, very disappointed in the cleanliness here. So many germs can be eliminated at the front door by having alcohol wipes at the front door. Walmart has them? And there food i wayyyyyy cheaper?!

What can you say about Jewel. The basic difference is the speed of checkout. Seams is a hit and miss. What was good, we were staying with friends and it was a short drive to get our items needed.

The woman behind the deli counter with the accent is pushy and rude and acts like it's a real effort to take care of you. She can't even get right what I asked for. Then she talks on and on with the other worker in their language. So ignorant.
