CUTE little shop in this northern Illinois town! The front of the store is a trip down memory lane with all of the toys, memorabilia, books, games, dishes, decorations and more! Most of this is for sale, some from consignment. Nooks and crannies with shelves to wander around and in the back there is a little cafe/tea room with delicious soups and sandwiches! And hand scooped ice cream! Take your time wandering through this little store, it's worth it!

I have only been here twice, but since I live 420 mi away----they are so friendly and helpful and polite and it's such a fun experience!!! Of course any kind of antique shopping is great but they complimented with a luncheon menu and dessert menu that can't be beat!! It is worth going off the beaten track to go to Lena Mercantile!!!

A nice mix of antiques, food items, and other goods along with a retro cafe/diner. I didn't try the food, but I will be on my next visit! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It's like taking a step into the past. The atmosphere is cozy, and you can surely find something of interest here. If nothing else, the desserts are beyond words. Worth the trip just for some amazing homemade sweets.
