Emerald & Amethyst is the cutest little book shop with a cozy atmosphere. It offers a great selection of books, parallel to what is popular currently, with a wide variety of genres and editions. The store has adult, YA, and kids books, a children's section, a nice game selection, and bookish accessories and knick knacks. The owners are very friendly, sweet, nice, and accommodating; if they do not have a book, they will order it in. The café is a hidden treasure, offering coffee and treats. There are lots of fun drink options, including a delicious vanilla latte and an incredible, perfectly spiced chai tea. The sweet treats include a peanut butter pie that is the best, so rich and flavorful. With multiple nice seating and table options, it is a place you could stay for hours and will want to keep coming back to.

The cutest book store! Great selection of books and loved the variety of editions. Book selection is very parallel to what is popular and what people are reading currently. I love this little book shop! The owners are so friendly and nice and if there is a book you want that they don't have at the moment they order it in for you. I have yet to try any of their coffee or treats but I have a book to go pick up later this week and will try something then!

I love Emerald and Amethyst for Lexington. It was so nice to meet Jamie today! I can't wait to go back for a sweet treat and some books for the kiddos.
