I have bought three cars from Toyota, and I have been servicing them through out the years at Toyota. On Wed, I brought my car in to check a tire. I was told that my vehicle needs a new tire. I asked what that would cost at check out, and I was told that it is covered under my warranty by Jesse. I was told by him that I would only have to pay for the labor which was to be about $20. I brought my car to have the new tire placed on Sat, and I was told I would have to pay for the tire. I brought up what was said to me on Wed, and Jesse said that my warranty does not cover tires and he was not sure where the miscommunication happened. I never expected this from Toyota. I am very disappointed because I feel like I was taken advantage of because I didn’t know better. I ended up paying almost $250. I am a single mother and money has been tight. I was not given a choice to prepare for this expense, and I was given false information initially. I called to speak to a manager and left a VM but no one has returned my call. Please make sure to get everything in writing before doing any type of service with Toyota. Lesson learned. I will no longer be returning.

I had a horrible experience at Autonation, Libertyville! I reserved a new Rav4 based on my appraisal on my current vehicle so I had all the numbers. When I went in to purchase the vehicle they cut my appraisal in half, saying they made a mistake the first time (the vehicle was in an accident and they should have known that when first appraised). I also had my own financing which they were pushing me to finance through them. Needless to say I walked out! Be careful buying through them!

Disgusting zero professional problem resolution to services never signed up for. On big misunderstandings dont make it explicitly clear only once after services done & payment process started.

Let me start by saying that I got charge $105 for an oil change on 2009 Toyota Camry. How is that legal? I tried to use a coupon and they said I couldn't for a terrible reason (probably just lazy). I've gone in the path and had similar negative experiences but I wanted to give it another shot. What a huge mistake. I will never be going to this place again.

Zero stars is too many for this service department. sad to say I've been there many times and probably 90% of the times I've experienced poor customer service. Today may have been the worst. I explained that apparently a cable broke in the back sliding door of the van (the cable was exposed, clearly showing the problem). I wanted to know if it might be covered under warranty (which was the ONLY reason I went to the dealership). The rude young gal whose name I didn't catch said it would be $194 to diagnose. What!?!? I'm pointing to the broken cable!! Here is the diagnosis. She printed a list of a few possible warranties that might cover the issue but couldn't promise anything until it was diagnosed I asked her to go get my van from the back, I wasn't signing anything and I was ready to leave. Ohhhhh she was irked, got worse when I explained to her and the bald service guy next to her that I didn't want to leave angry, just wanted a better explanation. To which he took over the conversation, not giving me much more. Ohh this place! DONT GO HERE. Not nice. Not trustworthy. Not professional. PS. I went RIGHT to Cornerstone in Libertyville and they were fantastic!!!! I highly recommend supporting the small business you can trust!!

Do not go here. Overpriced and and felt confused on what needed to be done. Basically scammed. Maintenance work done on my 2020 cost 700?! Shady service department- gives Toyota dealerships a bad name. Shame on you.

I’ve held off, giving AutoNation a bad review as I’ve been giving them the benefit of the doubt. Now, can only say from a Service aspect as they’ve dealt with my new car that they are terrible, subpar, really bad, a .000001 star not 1 star. They just can’t seem to get it together. From coming in with a 1/16” size spike in my tire that the service tech didn’t see, when my wife insisted, said was fine and sent her on her way. Of course it wasn’t, so had to come back. Then having to spot differential fluid leaking myself just after bringing in for “check up” service, the car was worked on for several days while they repaired. Had to come back. Now I find they didn’t reinstall everything correctly so things are now hanging down. Now have to come back.Thankfully I live close to the garage so they can continue to rework my vehicle at my inconvenience.Basically they suck at what they do. You’ve been warned.

Towed my vehicle for it needed to be diagnosed by toyota dealer service. They charged me $216 for a totally incorrect diagnosis and offered me a quote for "repairs" excessively expensive; thankfully, I didn't accept it. So, I took my car to a real mechanic, and the real problem my vehicle ended diagnosed and repaired was something completely different from what they told me.

I came here thinking it would save time instead of driving down to Schaumburg Toyota. I was WRONG. 2.5 hours for an oil change, no inspection report and zero communication. I asked for air filters they said they would text me photos, never did. I asked for an estimate on windshield replacement and never received it. When checking out I was told to take my paperwork to a desk in the middle of the service area to get my keys and then no one could tell me where my car was parked. I was told “well it could be to the left, the right, or in the back behind a trailer”. lol ok cool, thanks for the help… I will not be returning.

Just purchased my 3rd vehicle from Libertyville Toyota! Michael and Jordan were top notch! Both were cheerful, patient, and answered our many questions. I would not hesitate to recommend purchasing from them. No pressure, just excellent customer service. Great place!

The worst experience I had servicing my vehicle at this location. If takes several hours to do just an oil change and services managers lie about about ETA’s. Current manager for the service department is very unfriendly and very rude. Stay away from this location.

I recently experienced a disappointing situation with a car purchase. After having put down a $2,500 deposit, I decided to cancel the purchase. I was assured that a refund was forthcoming. However, after patiently waiting for three weeks, I have yet to receive any reimbursement.Even after speaking to the sales representative, who confirmed that the finance department had processed the refund, the money remains conspicuously absent from my account. It's a significant amount that's being withheld, which has resulted in a disappointing and inconvenient experience.

I went to pay and told Robert I had a maintenance contract and he (and I quote) stated "Unbelievable! Why didn't you tell me this until now!? This is ridiculous ". excuse me? I was told at my last visit it would be clearly stated in my account! so my husband attempted to call the manager and his call was NEVER returned. I am a nurse AND cancer survivor so I'm not afraid of conflict with people, but he was inappropriat, rude and disrespectful. you won't see me or anyone else I can influence at your establishment again.
