Poor - they promised me to send me check latter where due amount was $260 and still chasing. After 6 months still no response. I called them to buy new car and then keep sending me messages and call. But not about refund. Send multiple emails, voicemails - still same. Be careful - I will not recommend anyone.

My wife and I started our search for a new car this morning, Saturday March 2, we devoted the entire day, had a strict budget, a strategy and a mission, we had 3 stops, 2 scheduled meetings. We started 11+ miles north of our home for our first scheduled meeting, had an appointment at 9:30 and was greeted by Devon at Honda Libertyville, he was waiting for us with a huge smile, he was knowledgeable and professional and had all the facts about the car we were looking at precisely. He was sharp, showed us the model configurations we were interested in. We did a few test drives, resulting in being interested in a more optioned model. The test drive was an important factor in our ultimate decision. When it came down to pricing Devon introduced us to Albert, his sales manager. Albert was also professional and listened to our needs and budget. I'm not new to buying a car, never look forward to high pressure closing and my goal is to attain my pricing goals with the understanding buying a car from a dealer you have not done business with is an experience and an opportunity to develop a loyal relationship. Albert and I had some positive conversation, he knew where I wanted to be price wise and between his internal communication, we were able to reach a mutual agreement. Matt the General Manager stopped by too. Matt was also a great guy. Matt recognized that I was not the normal consumer, he wanted to let me know that Honda of Libertyville not only wanted to sell me the car they wanted to stand behind it with their extraordinary service. Making a long story short, we reached a fair deal, talked cars (he's a car guy too- mutual love of corvettes). Based on initial impression and making a fair deal I will be sending friends and family to this dealership. We found the exact car we were looking for; the experience was positive; we were able to be candid and professional in our negotiations, I do appreciate that, I believe everyone was happy. I look forward to their service and if you are seriously looking for a Honda, stop by Honda of Libertyville and tell Matt and his team than Bob and Paula sent you. Also, a shout out to Stefan, finance manager- he was great too.

Made an appointment for Saturday afternoon, after arriving waited for over an hour and 3 sales reps saying hello before actually getting a rep to put us inside the car for a test drive. Sat down and sales rep started with a $1500 clear coat and $1000+ for any certified used car they sell, very disappointing start. 10 minutes later, we were informed the car that we were about to negotiate was sold. Why would a dealership apply a clear coat on all their used car? Doesn't some, or even most, of these used cars have a clear coat already!

We've owned Honda cars for many years and been going to then Pauly Honda and they were great! Since the new ownership, everything went downhill. We no longer go here even though it's the closest to our house. We now go to Mueller Honda in Highland Park.

I had a confirmed appointment this afternoon to see a 2024 According Touring in the color that I wanted. I reconfirmed with them that morning that the car I was interested in was on the lot. When I got there this afternoon, the car had been sold to another dealer. My disappointment did not end there, In addition, they valued my Honda trade-in $1500 less than the cash offer I had through Kelly Blue Book from three other dealers. I was even willing to pay MSRP but the "sale" of the car that I had confirmed and the low ball trade-in was too much. I only good part of my visit was that I only wasted an hour of my life. Awful service...and I can guarantee that no one will contact me to apologize.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE Purchased a pre-certified Accord from Jason Larsen about 2 weeks ago. Everything seemed to be going smooth until it came time to talk to the finance person. Hispanic guy (very rude) when we realized there was a $2,000 "protectant" that was never mentioned before hand. We agreed on 1k after nearly walking out even though this should have never been included nor was it mentioned. Next day I realize a huge paint defect, I am then told it will be fixed since you can clearly see it on the dealership pictures. Only to have to make multiple calls in order to get "thats why the car was priced "lower" and theres nothing we can do about the paint" answer from Jason. This was partialy my fault because we should've noticed this when looking at the car but it was cold and dark. Wouldn't you think any decent salesman would tell you about these defects though? Clearly not. HERES THE KICKER, they made me resign all the financial paper work a few days later when I went to pick up something I left in my trade in car. Somehow they gave me the WRONG VIN NUMBER. They ask me to sign for me co-signer so "she doesn't have to come in anymore" of course the financial guy wasn't being ass at this point... isn't that illegal? and so morally wrong. Had to go back and deal with my insurance/parking company after to correct THEIR MISTAKE. Talking about crooks and liars please take your business somewhere else.

Never able to speak to anyone when I call. It is necessary to drive to them to speak with them. The new owners are very good at sending emails about how great they are, but maybe it is just their fantasy life that is guiding them! NEVER CALL BACK! Maybe they have no phones?

Well, where do we start. I came in to buy a certified pre owned Honda Odyssey at the advertised price. We reached an agreement for the purchase price and a trade in allowance and when we began to do the paperwork they tacked on a $1,995 charge for paint protection. I declined and they said it's already on the car and I have to pay for it. I stated loudly that their practice was against the law to which the prick of a finance director told me that it was within their right to add it on. It wasn't listed in the online ad or on the vehicle anywhere, so you know, basically made up by the dealer. I walked out. I confirmed with the attorney general's office that their practice is indeed against the law. So here we are. Buy a car from them if you want but buyer beware they are not honest to deal with. YMMV. I'll never set foot in that place again if they were giving away vehicles.

Service department is awful. I will NEVER go back. Brought it in for a recall that they contacted me about. Part was supposed to be there. 3 days later the part isn't there. No loaner. Picked up vehicle. Called again to reschedule it for same recall. Asked if shuttle service would be available at 8 AM. Absolutely. No problem. Drop it off and we will get you where you need to go within a 10 mile radius. Drop it off and then see the below posted picture of they are closed until 10:30 for a holiday party. No shuttle service. I'm still waiting to see if they will have the vehicle done for said recall upon today's promised pick up.

As others have mentioned we were very happy customers of Pauly Honda since purchasing our Odyssey in 2018. However in the past year that the dealer has changed hands, the customer service has tanked. The past two routine service checks has resulted in us not receiving multi-point inspections and not being told about recommended maintenance, rather it just says service declined. Called to see if they could email me the inspection and was told no. Feel like we were gouged on the most recent service - $800 for rear brakes and rotors (you read that right - only the rear) and $500 for a transmission flush. After 6+ years of purchasing our vehicle and having it serviced at Pauly, we will not be back.

Our 2006 Pilot needed a new heater control valve. I encouraged my wife to drop it off here for a quote. They charged her $130 just for the quote on what I already knew needed replacement! Came to pick the car up and stood in the service lobby for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. Won't be coming back here again.

I've been a customer for a long time. I came in for a routine service appointment. After dropping off the vehicle I went to the waiting room. After some time, I was sent a report with over $5000 worth of repairs. I waited a long time and no one came to speak to me about the details. I declined the repairs and inquired about an appraisal. My point of contact in the service department did not seem interested in entertaining this. I went up to the front and got a quote for $4000. I was upset and dejected. After leaving the dealership, I found that my power steering was fighting me. I did not have the problem when I came in. This was by far the worst experience I've had at the dealership. Afterwards, I went elsewhere and traded in my vehicle for $9000 - over double what Honda offered me. I'm very happy with my new vehicle and I'm happy to no longer have to deal with this predatory company

As others have recognized, THIS IS NO LONGER PAULY HONDA. New ownership. Went in to buy a CRV Hybrid Sport. Had the promotional offer from the honda website. The first quote was almost twice the Honda promotional quote. When I looked closely at the "deal" sheet, I noticed a $4300 "Market Adjustment" and a $1700 charge for a protection package. The sales manager initially explained that the difference was due to taxes and fees. That was baloney. He then explained that they needed a "market adjustment" because they were not selling that many cars. NO KIDDING! Neeedless to say, we walked out and went to Muller Honda in Gurnee. Not only did they honor the exact promotional price, but they gave us a $250 discount with no upcharges of any kind. Libertyville Honda is the kind of dealership that makes people dread purchasing a new car. Stay Away!

Bought my car from Pauly Honda and always relied on their prompt and honest service. Was told today to expect a 2-1/2 to 3 hour wait for a simple oil change. No thank you Libertyville Honda. You just lost another customer.

Was a regular customer of the prior owner. Frustrated that they add a service fee to credit card transactions. Additionally, it seems as if they no longer wash vehicles upon the completion of service. I'm driving a few a few miles further to a dealership that doesn't nickel and dime customers.
