My husband and I purchased our 1st vehicle from Dan Magana at Liberty Auto City and for the past 8 years we've brought in our truck for maintenance and repairs ONLY! We've invested in our truck's maintenance with the support of the service team and service managers providing us with a loaner, and the necessary recommendations.Anytime my husband or I needed to bring in our truck for service we called or texted the one person we could depend on, Dan the Man!He has always made time in his busy schedule to genuinely respond to our texts and accommodate our needs. If we needed further assistance, Tony Anzelmo was there to jump in and assist as well. Both of these individuals were the reason why we kept our loyalty and is exactly why we ONLY serviced our vehicle here.Dan Magana's customer service is UNMATCHED and he is consistent! We've had friendly and not so friendly, over the years and Dan was always there to receive the feedback and help out the best way he could(He and I should collaborate to do a training session for the company on how VIP Customer Service can create a Win-win for everyone ?)Recently, we decided to buy a new vehicle. We could have chosen to go anywhere with a few other competing dealerships who gave us great options, but we decided to purchase a brand new beautiful 2023 Durango truck with Liberty Auto City. Despite the other multiple offers elsewhere, it was the customer service that was subpar at those location. That was a huge turn off.At Liberty Auto City we received the expected phenomenal customer centric service and superior accomodating knowledgeable expertise we have not received anywhere else. We also had the opportunity to meet Mario Gentry. He greeted us upon arrival. Our interaction was brief but humorous. He borrowed me his pen and I promised to return it.Thank you Dan, Tony and Mario for making our visits and our recent purchase a VIP experience.~Enjoli?

This place is a joke!! I ordered a part online (window visor) which took three weeks to arrive. When it finally arrived it was the wrong side. I called department which told me the did sent the wrong part and to return it at my cost for a refund.Just received email today stating that part is not returnable and that if I want it back I would have to pay for shipping again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!Their response: The status of your order has changed and we wanted to keep you up to date:Thank you for your order. We received a return from you, it is an electrical item. Electrical items are non-returnable, we cannot give you credit back and if you would like this back you would need to pay for the return freight back to you.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!This dealership completely scammed me. They charged me 418 dollars for a repair that didn't fix my vehicle. Got home from the dealership and the same light went back on. They refused to refund me even the 250 dollar diagnostic fee and said that I will need to take it elsewhere. Now i'm out over 400 dollars and my vehicle is still broken. Avoid taking your car here if possible!

Fair warning to anyone wanting to buy from Liberty City Auto Subaru aka SubaruPartsWholesale - DON'T DO IT!!!! You are better off shopping at your local NAPA or AutozoneHere is our experience: Ordered the following on April 13, 2023 1:44pm from SubaruPartsWholesale.com for a total of $187.56, including the $20.52 in shipping cost: Disc Brake Pad Set (Front)Disc Brake Pad Set (Rear)Serpentine BeltItems shipped USPS on April 17, 2023 from Liberty Auto City Subaru out of Libertyville, IL which is the dealership using SubaruPartsWholesale as a store front. The ordered items were orignally set to be delivered on April 20, 2023, due to no fault of the dealership but instead the fault with USPS, they bounced around the U.S. and finally delivered on April 27, 2023. At this point very happy to finally have the items orderded. Then we opened enormous box and that's when the nightmare started. They packed those three items in a box that was obvisously too big,by about 4x too big, with no packing material, no tape on the indivual items packaging. The rear brakes that were ordered and come out of their package just banging around each other during shipping which resulted indamage to the brake pads.Called them the same day around 1P.M.(April 27th) and spoke to Josh - said he would send RMA to send the damanged pads back and would send replacements once he saw the the return was on it's way. So far, feeling alrightof this being resolved adequately. Mailed the rear brakes back to them the very next day (April 28th) and USPS had it scanned into the system for shipping by noon. Our replacments should now be on the way to us since they can see the others coming back to them....Right....Wrong. We didn't receive an email about a new tracking number as we were told we would receive so we called them back on May 1, 2023 around 5:30P.M. After being on hold for a long time and be transferred and transfered mulitpletimes, finally in parts answered and would not give their name but did say that Josh was gone for the day. Gave this fellow the story and the original order number and he looked it up and saw the note that Josh had made about sending the replacment rear pads once he saw movement on the RMA. This fellow then tells us that he is not able to do anything but will leave a note for Josh to see in the morning the next dayabout there being movement on the RMA and to send the rear pads. At this point our return had made it from Texas to Indiana. Finaly got a name at the end of the call and this was Chris. Now we are to May 3, 2023, about 3 weeks from order date, still no email with new tracking number, spoke to Josh and he acknowledged that he got the note left by Chris on Monday but he couldn't remember which set ofpads were damanged in shipping so he did nothing. We explained again that they were for the rear, so far Josh has not followed through with anything that he said he would do and we are in dire need of this part since the current pads are at or below 2mm of wear. Said he would get them in the mail and send us the tracking number. By 5:30P.M. no email from Josh with a tracking number, called and left a message for the GM of the dealership explaining that nothing has happened in almost 1 week except for me doing my part and returning the damanged parts promptly. Now let's enter a third person at Liberty Auto City Subaru to add to this nightare of an experience. This time the name is Armi, and she is in the Business Development Center - she called us - and truly seems to care about the horrible service we have received and plans to rectify it because customer satisfication is their #1 goal. It feels so promising...but surprise...another let down. The only thing that Armi did was tell them to mailthe parts, oh and let's go ahead and mail the same ways as before using USPS even though the customer has been waiting almost a month, is frustrated, knowing that it took 2 weeks to be delivered by USPS, and none of this situation was due to anything on the customer but origninated with poor packaging by the Par

Took my 2021 to Libertyville Auto city/ Subaru yesterday. Due for oil change. Do not drive a lot so low mileage just turned 9000 miles. I was told by a very young girl in service sept I was due for cabin filter and brake fluid in addition to oil change. I asked if that was necessary at this time and she said yes. I admit being a female Im not knowledgeable about the mechanics of a car so based on her advisement I went forward with it. Car was done in less then an hour at the tune of 330.00. For which they gave me $30.00 off with a coupon they had. Sticker shock!Called and spoke to service manager Connor who was quite arrogant to say the least. The rest is history as he insisted the young lady was correct in advising what she did. Very very disappointing as our experience with Subaru has always been handled well with the utmost professionalism, this time not so much. Customer service is a lost art, thing of the past ! Money grabbers and that's all that matters. Women are victims for sure when we lack for knowledge of auto's. Thanks Connor and thanks Subaru for being prime example of how women are assumed " dumb ". So much for Libertyville Auto City Subaru! Buyer beware!!!!!

The experience and the hustle was long winded. We all know the deal or what we're getting into when we go to dealerships. They hustling, we hustling. Came down to an agreement that wasn't as favorable but you take what you can depending on that particular time in you life. But to have an issue with the vehicle and then ask to have it checked, just checked. Only to be given the lie to call on the following Monday from the Manager Greg Sherman himself is tough. I drove back up there to give documents and I directed to Mr. Sherman. He told me personally to call and he would help schedule a check. It's been a month lol. Its cool, I didn't want to write a book but just some facts on my experience.Probably won't deter anyone, especially one that is in a certain position in life as I was. But just take heed and get everything you need in the contract. If they can not offer that in the contract don't sign, it's not worth it. Very Disappointing but ey you live and you learn.

I broke my passenger side mirror getting out of the garage. I pulled into service and the service writer gave me a quote. Steve informed me that he could get the part the next day. I agreed to have the part ordered for the repair. He gave me the option to leave the car overnight and take a free rental or I come back tomorrow. I took the vehicle home and returned the next morning. The new mirror was on the vehicle by 10AM. They definitely have my business. Great service! Great people! Great dealership! They make you feel like family!

The best customer service! I had a great experience working with them. I purchased my car from them a few months ago. I had just moved from another state to IL the time of my purchase and had a low budget for car purchasing. They were the only shop that took their time with me and showed me around to find me something based on my needs and budget and they did a great job. Dry happy with my purchase!

Extremely rude owner. Expressed my concerns of things not being fixed after MULTIPLE visits. Had the car for over a month. Was told "since we can't appease you Id suggest you take your car else where". Took it to another dealership and the technicians saw issues that were not fixed. Owner did not care or was apologetic about the car not getting fixed.

This place gives you such great customer service up until you purchase your vehicle and then they don't care. We purchased a van at asking price. The listing stated and we confirmed over the phone that the Bluetooth headphones and remote for the DVD players were there. We had also asked if they could fill the gas tank as we didn't want to spend nearly 30k just to have to immediately fill the tank. We drove all the way there and purchased this van. To find they had not filled the gas tank as promised, nor were the remote and headphones there. We spent over a week contacting people to get our headphones and remote just to get passed along from person to person. I specifically told the manager if they wouldn't deal with this I was going to file a report with the BBB and it still wasn't dealt with. Hopefully, the BBB can help resolve the issue because they clearly do not care enough about their customers to deal with this before it is escalated.Update: They did reach out and resolve all of my problems in a timely manner after posting this review and reporting to the BBB.
