While in the market for a vehicle, I came across one that caught my attention at this location. Given that I was 50 miles away from the place, I got in contact with someone there named Heather. Told her I was interested, so we made arrangements for me to come check out the vehicle. Mind you, I made myself PERFECTLY clear that I needed a guarantee that the vehicle would be available for show prior to me making the drive. She assured me it was there & was even going to pull it towards the back in order for it to be secure. I had no vehicle & a family member did me the favor of giving me a ride. Upon arrival, I was told that the vehicle was not available due to it being in service for detail & would not be available til that following weekend & I was presented with another similar vehicle that was in no way in working order. There was an evident problem with the engine. I was beyond upset that I was taken for a fool for their liking. This was for a 2014 Cruze. Thankfully I was able to get a better deal & service elsewhere. I ended up with something better than what I was looking for. Now in a 2021 Honda Civic.If this is their way of treating their potential customers, then I don't recommend anyone doing business here. Deceit is never a good tactic. Stay vigilant!

Sales representative forgot to give me back my drivers license and I live over an hour away from the dealership. Once I realized a day later I didn’t have my license, I called the dealership to ask if they had the license. They did and they never called me to let me know that they had my license. They offered to mail it to me and also gave me the wrong time that service closes on Saturday. They offered to replace my battery but due to their error in times I am not able to do this anytime soon. Overall very frustrating experienceUpdate on this. They expedited my license and will help the best they can for my battery issue. Steve was very understanding and patient with me as well.

Tom is a wonderful salesman! He doesn’t pressure or make you feel like you have to purchase, something I really appreciate, having worked in the retail market for years! Great car, great deal, great people! If you’re at all interested in a Mazda, I highly recommend this place, and ask for Tom!

Like most dealerships they always tell you to do things you don't need done. We got our tires replaced last year and they were suggesting us to replace them......the thread was perfect. The tires only had 13,000 miles on them.

Hands down this was the easiest and stress free car buying experience I have ever had. My husband and I went to look at a new Mazda to upgrade from my 2016 CX 3 and we had the pleasure of working with Dan P. He was incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in all the options on the market and if he didn't know the answer, he did not try to make it up, he checked on it to find out. We felt no pressure the day we looked. I spoke with him regarding wanting the Mazda Soul Red for the new car and he said he would contact us as soon as it was in. Dan provided great follow up and was easy to work with and made our choice for a new 2024 Mazda CX 90 PHEV easy to drive home with. Everyone at the dealership was great and fun to work with. They have my loyalty for sure.

Just recently I bought my daughter the 2024 CX-50 from Napleton Mazda... it was an incredible experience. All the employees were super helpful and friendly! Oscar did an awesome job with helping us purchase the car along with explaining the whole buying process. I highly recommend!!

I worked with Robert to buy my CX5 and he was great to work with. I made a lot of changes from the original features that I wanted on the car and he and the manager, Steve, just rolled with whatever I wanted. Very friendly people to work with and I got an unexpectedly good finance rate. Highly recommend.

My location on yelp is not correct, this dealer is located in Illinois.If you're looking to buy a used car from Napleton Mazda, please read this review.Let me start out with the good things about this dealer,The customer service was excellent when they were trying to sell us a vehicle. My girlfriend and I were looking to upsize her vehicle to help accommodate for our infant child. We could hardly fit the car seat, stroller, and carrier in her sedan, so we came to look at a larger vehicle.This dealer had a 2012 Toyota Venza that looked excellent from the photos. We arrived and asked to look at the vehicle and test drive it, which they were happy to help with. After driving the car on a recommended route by the salesperson on local roads, we went back to discuss financing. After some negotiating, we came to an agreement of trading in our 2015 Hyundai Sonata for a down payment towards the vehicle, no problems there.We were also being pushed a finance option with a warranty, which covered the car for repairs up to a certain amount on engine and transmission repairs. Hesitant, we decided this would be a good option if something were to happen a couple YEARS down the road (note the emphasis on YEARS, not days). Here's where the problems come,About 3 weeks after purchasing the car, my girlfriend took it on the interstate for the first time since we owned the vehicle. She was grabbing the kiddo from daycare and was heading to meet the grandparents for the day, which is a different route than she routinely takes. After about 3 minutes at highway speeds, the check engine light turns on and the car shakes like crazy. She pulls over to the side of the road, luckily she was in the right lane still, and calls me.The car won't start, and she's stuck on the side of the freeway with our infant child until I can get there. We get the car to a Toyota dealer and explain what has happened. We left the car for a few days while they diagnosed the issue. When we get the call back to tell us what was wrong, we could not believe what we heard. All of the intake and exhaust valves needed to be replaced, for a whopping $5400, maybe more if they run into any more issues. We were told that they have probably been in a failure like condition for months, and that someone replaced a lot of parts in the area of the failure, but failed to address the critical components. The service technician said there's no way this should have been missed during an inspection, since Mazda replaced parts in the area the issue of concern was located.I immediately called Mazda to ask what our options where. Mind you, we've only had this car 22 days, and I was not interested in keeping a car that was sold to us with a repair cost of $5400, even if the warranty covers $5000 of it, which would null our warranty for the remainder of the cars life. Mazda told us that there was no issues with the car when they sold it to us, and that their service department did a full inspection of the vehicle. After I explained that Toyotas service department said there is no way that this issue could have been missed during an inspection, Mazda stated that even if this happened the same day the car was sold, the would do nothing to help, and that's the business of buying a used car. He continued to tell me that the law and the bank would side with him, and that buying a used car is your issue once the car leaves the lot. He assured me that when they had the vehicle, it passed all safety and maintenance inspections, which is hard to believe. It also seemed suspicious that they were pushing the warranty so hard on us.We traded in a car with NO mechanical issues, 89,000 miles, and bought a car that needs a 5400$ repair in return. I cannot believe any company would not stand by their customers on an issue this substantial. I would HIGHLY advise staying away from these guys, and if you do come here to purchase a vehicle, please try to get in writing that you have a certain amount of time to have a certified mechanic go through the car themselves to see what Mazd

I got my Mazda CX5 in 2021 during the covid times. The customer service was beyond amazing. Today, I happen to visit for getting an issue resolved with my key fob. Mr. Joe at the customer service desk and his team were amazing. They went above and beyond to get my issues solved in no time. They were extremely polite, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend their services.

Marion and Leo are amazing! The process of buy a car was very easy. Everyone was warm and welcoming with no haggle. Marion made sure I was comfortable and informed. Leo went out of his way to get me a great deal! I love my Mazda!

I had emailed them about a specific car that I was interested in. The sales Manager told me the car was available and asked when I would come in. I went in the next morning only to find out the car was not there. Which was very unprofessional because I had let them know I lived an hour away. The sales representative that I had told me to look at a similar car so I did. I asked them to give me the pricing of the car and they kept being persistent on making me drive the car. I had to keep going back and forth with the manager and sales rep just to get the price. After I received the paper with the price the sales rep was angry and gave me an attitude and said “ you cannot take the paper” yet he let me take a picture of the paper. As I was leaving I told the sales rep have a “good one boss” and I got the response from him saying “mhm” with an attitude.

Great service and friendly staff! Our purchase experience was wonderful and everyone we spoke with was personable and professional. Buying a car in person still takes a long time, but we never felt pressured which is a great change from other dealership experiences I’d had in the past.
