Dr. Miller, Shelby, Hannah, and Nicole lead with friendliness and empathy. They are clearly as invested in their field as they are in their patients. They helped me get my senior cats up-to-date after I inherited them from a family member. Dr. Miller and team explain what they are doing, what the best course of action is, and answer my questions.Every part of the service has been given careful attention. Even the office is set up for both cats for cat people — calm and comfortable.Highly recommended.

I love this clinic. First, I think the medical care is excellent. Second, the doctor was very straight with us on the diagnosis, prognosis, and course of treatment. Third, the entire staff is very kind and caring towards the animals and their humans. Definitely would, and have, recommend the clinic.

Outstanding care for all of our kitties. The staff is thorough, compassionate, and dedicated. We have been bringing our cats here for over 5 years. We are grateful for all they have done keeping everyone healthy and happy from kittenhood to crossing the rainbow bridge. We can’t imagine going anywhere else for expert veterinary care for our cats.

Our Tiger is very well cared for at Northern Illinois Cat Clinic. The staff is attentive, considerate, and extremely skilled. Our little guy is 15 and as active and happy as he was when he was a kitten. Dr. Miller has navigated a couple of his significant health challenges and he appears healthier than ever.

This is the only place I'd ever bring my William to. Just entering the waiting room is heads and tails above every other vet. You feel like you're in someone's home, not a sterile waiting room. All of the staff are kind and caring. Dr. Miller and everyone else working there make it obvious that they care about you and your cat through the excellent service they provide. Your cat's health and well-being are the number one priority when visiting Northern Illinois cat clinic. Absolutely the best vet around for all cats.

I am extremely happy I took my cat to Northern Illinois Cat Clinic when he was experiencing an illness. They treated both me and my cat with complete kindness and their care was top notch. I had been to one other vet and the ER previously (poor kitty) to determine what was wrong to no avail. Dr. Miller saw me right away and was very thorough in her examination and testing and answered all my questions with patience. I even received a follow up call the next day to make sure kitty was doing better. The cat-only expertise at Northern Illinois Cat Clinic is second to none and I highly recommend you take your feline there for all their care and needs.

Dr. Miller, the technicians, the front staff are amazing! They have all been a part of making our cat’s life enjoyable and healthy. We, and our cat Smokey, are so glad to be a part of their practice. 5 stars all the way!

I visited this vet about 8 years ago with another cat and the vet was nice. This time I have been waiting for 2 weeks for a call from Brian to set up a first time appointment for my other old cat. I have had to call 3 times. Today Brian called and said he left a message for me yesterday but maybe it was the wrong number. I highly doubt he called. He may replay that he did and can confirm that. If so, It would be nice to reply with the proof. Then he tells me they can see my cat in 12 days and I have to pay a non refundable fee of $68, which is their office fee. I asked what happens if my cat gets worse and I have to go somewhere else next week, where they would still have 4-6 days to fill the appointment. He said that my fee would be non refundable. I totally understand vets being booked out. That happens everywhere and same with regular doctors. I have to say taking 2 weeks to call someone back about an appointment and then refusing to refund money if the cat has to go somewhere else is just sad and bad business practice. If I canceled the day before or did a no show, that is understandable. It’s not hard to find a more accommodating vet that has better communication skills.

My first impression was a grand slam when Bryan reached out to me to review my request for an appointment. He took the time to build rapport and learn more about my Sphynx. Having a rare breed it is hard to find a vet that isn't dismissive or unknowledgeable to the specific needs and possible health issues. But Bryan's concern and knowledge nearly took my breath away. Without me even needed to say a word, he addressed every single thing I was looking for a Veterinary practice to know about my cat.Shelby at reception was warm and welcoming. The office has so much character including adorable cat pillows, decor, TV's, leather chairs, and a large bookcase of cat books. They offered a beverage during my wait which was appreciated.I met with Dr. Miller and was impressed by her passion for cats and knowledge about the things other vets have just shrugged off. Such as yeast overgrowth in the ears that was cleared up in days with the appropriate prescription. Sphynx produce a lot of excess oil and I thought it was normal but she saved us both on that one. My cat received antibiotics for an infected pimple and she paired it with a pre/pro biotic which my cat is obsessed with. In days I noticed her skin was softer than ever as an added perk. Although we didn't see eye to eye on dietary choices, she gave me the education and tools needed to make the best informed decision for my little one. She recommended everything I hoped for in long term health maintenance, and I am truly grateful for that..Anyone that complains about price doesn't understand that prices are double in the city of Chicago. I drove over an hour to see Dr. Miller for her expertise. These professionals are cat specialists, not the county pound. I found that pricing was more than fair and appreciated the quote before anything was performed. If you're committed providing your feline companion a long healthy life, look no further.

I called 2 weeks ago to make an appointment for a special needs cat. Person who answered phone said she couldn't make an appointment and that I would be contacted by the practice manager. Never heard back.UPDATE:It is NOT POSSIBE that they tried to reach me twice. My phone records all incoming calls and so does Xfinity. No unanswered calls were recorded. In addition, I work from home and am here almost 24/7. I stand by my review. One does not need to visit a business to find them unprofessional. Why is it necessary for someone to call me back just to make an appointment? Especially just for a consult?

I am so happy we found Northern Illinois Cat Clinic! They always treat our fur babies with such loving kindness. Dr. Miller takes the time to answer my questions, I never feel rushed out of the visit. Someone always checks in the day after every visit to make sure kitties are doing alright. Nicole has gone above and beyond to help me schedule visits around my crazy work schedule. Saffron and Salem are forever grateful and so am I!!
