Old School Forest Preserve is a beautiful and well-maintained area featuring marked walking trails and scenic views. Visitors can enjoy nicely groomed gravel trails, with several loop options winding through the woods and around a pond. The preserve also has ample parking, restrooms, and water fountains, making it a convenient spot for activities like hiking, biking, and participating in events such as charity 5Ks. Additionally, caution is advised due to the presence of toxic invasive plants like Giant Hogweed, which should not be touched. Despite some challenges, Old School Forest Preserve remains a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts in the Chicagoland area.
