I ordered a meat and cheese deli tray for a party of 30. The quality of the product on the tray was amazing and the presentation outstanding! I highly recommend this as a delicious and very easy way to entertain!

Limited selection of things, place is a bit pricey. Otherwise a nice grocery store that does carry some unusual food selectionsPretty good, wait 2 weeks and I've forgotten the limitations. I don't shop there regularly so I don't remember the store layout that well

I think the store is very unique. It’s very clean. They offer such a wonderful range of foods in the deli. I worked in the neighborhood several years ago. I would come in and get their salad bar. It was a bit expensive, but it was so good. Now I stop in just from time to time. This is the second time I bought an ethnic cuisine entrée in their homemade deli section. the first time it was the chicken quesadilla. It should have been called the little black bean quesadilla because that’s all that was in there. It was a bunch of little black beans and cheese. It was horrible! I took the chance again and bought some mini chicken tacos. Needless to say they were the worst ever! So my advice is, if you’re going to shop here, don’t buy any ethnic cuisine, homemade foods in the deli. They obviously don’t know how to make them. Other than that the store is fine .

This is one of my favorite grocery stores! They have such a great selection of gourmet and everyday items. I love stopping by the deli to get one of the chicken salads or pasta salads for a night at Ravinia or for an easy lunch. The store has great gourmet cheeses and meat/fish plus the best produce not from a farmer's market. I love going through the fruit and veggie area to see what's in season! The folks behind any of the counters are super helpful with preparation and meal complement ideas. My family has ordered the Thanksgiving special a few years running and it was probably the best Turkey we've had along with delicious sides. The store has a great layout and is super easy to get through when doing your weekly shopping. The freezer cases were also recently updated. Definitely a great local store worth frequenting!

I had the pleasure of encountering Clarence, the remarkable fish man, on what was undoubtedly one of the busiest days at the seafood market. My initial expectation was simply to secure eight succulent lobsters for a special evening gathering, but Clarence's exceptional service and dedication elevated this mundane task into an unforgettable experience. From the moment I approached his bustling stall, it was evident that Clarence possessed a profound passion for his craft. His enthusiasm for the ocean's bounty was infectious, and he greeted me with a warm smile that instantly put me at ease amid the chaos of the crowded market.Clarence's expertise was immediately evident as he meticulously inspected each lobster, ensuring that only the finest specimens made it into my order. His knowledge of the creatures was astounding, and he shared fascinating tidbits about their habits, habitats, and flavors, adding a layer of education to this shopping excursion. However, the true magic occurred when Clarence went above and beyond the call of duty. As he counted out my lobsters, he paused, considering something. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he disappeared into the depths of his icy display. Minutes later, he returned triumphantly, bearing four additional lobsters, carefully selected for their size and tenderness."Here you go," he declared with a wink, "a special treat for you and your guests tonight. You deserve the very best."My gratitude knew no bounds as I marveled at the generosity of this fish man extraordinaire. Not only had he ensured that my guests would enjoy an exceptional feast, but he had also transformed a chaotic, demanding day into a cherished memory.Clarence's dedication to his craft, his infectious enthusiasm, and his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction left an indelible impression. In a world where true customer service often feels like a rarity, Clarence's exceptional efforts served as a shining example of what can be achieved when passion and professionalism intersect. In the end, thanks to Clarence's expertise and generosity, our special evening featured not just eight, but twelve lobsters. It was a feast that transcended the ordinary, a testament to the extraordinary service provided by a remarkable fish man named Clarence. I am forever grateful for the experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend seeking out his stall for an unparalleled seafood adventure.

This place is ridiculously overpriced. They really have the audacity to charge $26.00 for an eight inch apple pie. And then the self checkout Nazi hovers so much that she literally watched me input my pin code. Skip this one.

After 30 yrs I find that I have to shop elsewhere now. I'm not sure if they are going out of business or what but the last year or so the store has really gone downhill. I was there today and there were many empty shelves and much of the produce was absolute garbage and the worst I've seen, not to mention the fish counter stinks to high heavens. People would have to be blind to buy this stuff. The deli items and salads are not the same either. I can tolerate the sky high prices but the quality and pride is just not there anymore. It's like they have just given up and everything has deteriorated. It's really ashame. I wish Lakeside Foods and Don's was still in LF

Very clean and maintained grocery store. Has a boutique feel but carries all brands. Large variety - the deli had great homemade salads. Was my first time shopping here - entered my information for the rewards program.Had an issue at this specific store with the meat department - they had a younger guy working the counter and the cut that was provided wasn't trimmed...so, I ended up paying way more than I should have :)Spoke with Michael in the meat department - he was great! Such a nice guy - referred me to Steve the store manager and told me to come in. I headed in and Steve was super accommodating and understanding. The customer service here was great! Even with an issue it was a great experience.I will be back. Thank you!
