My review is for the pharmacy. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever encountered. Just this week I spent 30 minutes in the drive thru only to drive away. I came back and was told my meds weren't ready. As I pulled away I got a text that they were ready. Went back to pick up and one of them was only filled with 27 of the 90 pills it was supposed to have. How does a pharmacy mess up this bad??!?

Employee named Dave was really ignorant to me he gave me attitude when I asked where something was located in the store. I will be going to the other Walgreens from now on.

ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY. As a prescriber, I was on hold for 45 minutes, and when I expressed my frustration for the unacceptable hold time, the clerk argued with me saying “no you weren’t on hold that long” and then hung up on me…. Completely incompetent, rude and absolutely disappointed in this Walgreens location. Based on other poor reviews, you would think they would start restructuring their pharmacy. Go ANYWHERE else but here for your pharmaceutical needs.

This pharmacy is atrocious and incompetent. I had two prescriptions that needed to be filled on Thursday. I spoke to the PHARMACIST. She assured me both would be there FRIDAY. Went to pick them up on Sunday and neither were there. I am out of my medication (and a lapse in it can cause dangerous side effects). The pharmacist did not let me know that the medication was not in stock on Friday, as she said. If she would have told me the prescription could not be filled, I would have had my doctors office send the non-transferable prescription to another pharmacy or location. This is something that cannot be accomplished on the weekend. She was nonchalant, non-apologetic and could care less about the harm she caused.This has also happened on several occasions with my 2 year old son’s medications, who has a rare disease.Be prepared for them to not fill your prescriptions when they say then will and horrendous customer service. Their lines are always long and simple tasks and common courtesy are foreign to them.I am absolutely done with this place. Do better for your patients. People depend on receiving their medication when you say you will have it.

This pharmacy has the longest wait times ever. I have waited in line in the store for over an hour, i don’t even try with the drive thru anymore. The techs and pharmacists are generally nice, but never seem to care that I have been waiting (often standing) for unacceptable amounts of time.Currently as i’m typing this, i’ve been on hold for 43+ minutes because one of my prescriptions was flagged on the app.In addition to the wait times, I have had multiple experiences where there’s some question about the prescription and the pharmacy claims to have reached out to the prescriber, but my doctors office never had record.The last time I had this happen, I asked the tech if I should call my doctor and she assured me i did not have to take action. After a week of no updates I called my doctor and they had no record of them calling. After this, it took another week to sort out the RX, and I waited almost a full 4 weeks total.As a chronically i’ll person, i know pharmacies can be a headache. But this store has something fundamentally wrong with the way they operate considering all of the reviews.I would not be leaving a review if this hadn’t happened multiple times in the recent past, and if i wasn’t already sitting around waiting on hold.

Getting a call through to the pharmacy is impossible! Everyone is busy and that’s understandable but dispensing medications is a service that requires service to customers when they have a problem with a prescription. How does that occur if calls aren’t answered?

How could this store be any worse. Called pharmacy after a Dr RX was delayed as they needed Dr's approval. Well, this is how they got the RX in the first place. Then every 15 secs the recording apologizes. Insanity. Simple the worst of the worst. Been on hold now 15 minutes.

Waited on hold for 32 minutes. No answer. Called again, same. Called again, sometime picked up. Told me i needed to go on line to get covid test. Would not work. Had to go to doctor's office. Convenience, HA!

Disappointed in my neighborhood Walgreen's. Some of the people working in the store are nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The store of course has all the essentials and is usually well-stocked no matter what time you go. The pharmacy on the other hand--*shudder*. The staff are few and usually unfriendly. I've had multiple appointments scheduled online here--filled out paperwork beforehand and everything, but they NEVER see the appointment on their list. As a result, I have to fill out the same paperwork again and wait a while. Advice: If you have a vaccine appointment (which should in theory take 5-10 minutes), allow yourself at least an hour or change locations. At other locations, notably Mundelein (Lake St.), this doesn't seem to be a problem.

I made an appointment for a covid PCR test at 6:30 in the morning for 2:30 that afternoon and received a confirmation at 6:50 a.m. waited in the Drive-Thru for 20 minutes before I was told that they were waiting for my insurance to process the claim. When I asked how much longer it would be, there was another 5-minute wait and then I was told that their system is down so they can't do anything. I don't know if this is a Walgreens problem all together or maybe just this store, but this is the third time I've scheduled a covid test that they didn't have documented despite my confirmations.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Customer service in the pharmacy is atrocious. They regularly tell me prescriptions are ready when then are not and make mistakes with insurance. The staff is not knowledgeable nor helpful. You will also wait in line for 40+ minutes to have an incredibly frustrating experience. Every time I need the SAME prescription refilled, I have to have multiple contacts with the pharmacist. This absolutely infuriating. Not coming back.

I understand it's hard to get staff but that is no reason for the staff to be so rude. I had an appointment for a vaccine. Saw pharmacy staff was busy even though no one was ahead of me and expected a wait. Thy never apologized for the delay much less looked at me. The pharmacist was very direct and never smiled. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is for the lady who administered the shot. She was very nice. They gave me what I thought was a $5 coupon. When I brought my purchase up to the counter, I was rudely told that it was not a coupon but credit to my Walgreens account. Totally my fault for not reading it fully. I decided not to take the item since it was overpriced without the coupon. I apologized for my error dispute the fact that the young girl at the counter rolled her eyes. Instead of acknowledging my apology she walked away. I had forgotten why I never go to Walgreens.

I am writing this review as I wait to pick up my prescription. Currently, there is absolutely nobody in line and I have yet to have a pharmacist come to assist me. This is business as usual at this place. I’m sure that I could type a full length novel as I wait.
