This is one of our favorite parks to cruise through and just enjoy nature. Sometimes we come out and hike the trails, which is also a blast. We love coming in the evening and seeing all the deer and wildlife moving about!!

We stopped for lunch and a short hike but the trail is completely overgrown and the outhouses look like they are about to collapse.

No frills park. Because of it's location, hunting is not allowed and the deer know it.

One of my favorite places to be along the Salt Creek. Friendly staff and hardworking individuals make this place what it is today. Historic Rankin School house as you enter the gates and tons of wildlife and trails to explore. In addition to the state champion sycamore tree located here!Playground: One large main playground area with slides swings and climbing structures Restrooms: Pit toilets located throughout one is closed near the north canoe launch Dog-friendliness: This is my dogs favorite place to be he loves to walk the trails here with mePicnic area: So many picnic tables and areas throughout. The 5 main shelters have grills and plenty of space for large gatherings

Cute State Park. Lots of deer. Plenty of spots for a BBQ or picnic. A few different play grounds here and there for the kids.

Been a local for my whole life and I've never seen shotgun shells at the boat landing. Really worried.Contacted the state police and DNR to report. I hope this can be enforced with haste.
