The rooms were so clean, the staff was so friendly, and helpful. Nina was the best! She always went out of her way to make sure that every guest there was well taken care of. She also made sure we knew what was going on for the weekend, and told us about all the cool places to visit. My family and I totally recommend staying at this Homewood Suites. Nina rocks!!

Typical suburban hotel catering mostly to business visitors. Rooms somewhat aged. Dirty laundry in bags remained on the corridor. There is some noise from the adjacent highway.
Rooms: Rooms are okay. Clean but furniture and bathroom somewhat in need of an overhaul. Depending on your room you look out on I94...
Food and drinks: Okayish breakfast...

Exactly what i was looking for. Close to I94 but road noise not noticeable from my room. The room hvac noise was not an issue in the bedroom . Curved hallway helped suppress any perceived outside noises. Overall, it was very quiet on the top floor. 3 story building with a smart design with a stairway right next to the central elevator for those that dont want to wait or like getting steps in. They honored my requests as a hilton honors diamond member. Very user friendly experience for travellers coming into Chicago area from the north. Prime parking spots go fast at night, but could always find a spot. Only things i could think to improve would be add a pullup station in the gym, and add more coffee and tea options in the lobby. I stayed on a weekend so the usual homewood breakfast.

It was an easy location for us, just 20 minutes from O’Hare where we were flying out. It had good rating so we chose it. There is a woman named Nina at the front desk who was awesome. Friendly upbeat and gave us good information. The hotel was clean inside, but the inside was pretty dated. The only real detriment under the fact that it looked older was that they had bags of dirty towels and garbage in the hotel Hallway the night we checked in and they were still there the next morning when we left.

I stayed 4 nights. This Homewood Suites is TERRIBLE! Nina is incompetent and clueless. I'm an Honors Gold member, not only did she not acknowledge it, she never gave me my points or anything. She had trouble getting their POS System to accept a credit card without it asking for a pin number which I have NEVER had to use as it is not a debit card and don't have the pin activated on the card purposely. She did not know what to do and said I couldn't complete the check-in without the pin and just stood there looking at me to resolve it. Her incompetence not to be able to know what to do to correct THEIR BILLING SYSTEM ISSUES is a disgrace!
The hotel is old, the rooms are tired, especially the tub and carpet. The mattresswas way too soft offered no support, pillows were not firm, veey cheap. The linens were very worn/tired. The so called complimentary breakfast is just prepackaged processed unhealthy low quality food. Even the fruit isn't fresh. They don't clean the rooms everyday but still charge the same rates each night. How is that right? It isn't, they're ripping people off!
Up until this year I was Diamond Club level but Hilton has let poorly run and maintained locations like this turn me off and I've been staying with another brand. I travel approximately 160 nights a year. I won't return to this Homewood and definitely recommend avoiding this hotel and going to another hotel!

Overall, a great stay. The rooms were spacious and it was nice having a kitchen w a microwave, small stovetop, pans, silverware and dishes. (No oven). Great water pressure and water was always hot! Beds and couch were comfortable and there were extra pillows for those who need 20 to sleep! (Me!)
We were there for Navy graduation and it was about 10-15 min drive to get there. Great shopping and restaurants within 5-7 mins of the hotel. (Not much super super close)
I can’t say enough about Nina (usually works night shift at the front desk) but I saw her during the day on Saturday. She truly went above and beyond for our group. I had misplaced my purse, with all my belongings. Nina was informed by another guest who found it, and Nina took every step possible trying to track me down…. Down to asking people if they knew someone w my last name….as I was not on the reservation in the room. All my cash, cards, medications and belongings were there. I was very lucky and again, I can’t thank her enough for saving me from a catastrophic disaster.
Breakfast was great, many options for hot and cold breakfast.
Swimming pool was open until 10pm and enjoyable. Not over crowded even on a night the hotel was fully booked.
My only complaint…. Our AC Unit had frozen up. Maintenance was there within 20 mins of letting Nina know, but unfortunately, it didn’t get fixed, so it was stuffy and slightly uncomfortable in our room. We were leaving the next day, so we opted not to ask for a new room.
I would stay here again if I was ever in the area, and I would highly recommend the hotel. The property was nice, clean, and spacious…but, above all else, I truly can’t say enough for honest, genuine employees (for me, that was Nina) who go above and beyond for their guests.

The most unfriendly couldn't care less service I've encountered in years, starting from the front desk. The rooms have no safe, so now I have to carry valuables on my person everywhere I go. The Internet is painfully slow if you opt for the free option. Wish I hadn't pre-paid otherwise I would have left and gone somewhere else.

We stayed here for pir week. There were not a lot of people there so it was even better. Nice hot breakfast buffet every morning. Rooms have mini kitchens, full size refrigerator. Very safe and quiet area.

Rooms: Rooms are clean they are just old. It’s in need of renovation very soon. Lightning is not that great for those trying to read or working. Hopefully you have good outdoor lighting because this yellow lighting is definitely not it. I have to literally turn on all the lights. Tub needs to be replaced with the extreme wear and tear on the inside of it. I wear shower shoes because of the rough surface. Watch the water to make sure you don’t have dark water coming out. The plumbing is apparently old
Safety: Seems pretty safe and not a lot of traffic in and out the location
Walkability: Nice walking areas nearby to walk, jog, sit and feed ducks.
Food and drinks: Plenty of good eats just minutes away in practically all directions.

From the front desk to the cleaning staff have always been amazing and rooms are super clean and patio area is great for relaxing. 10/10 each stay has been excellent with no issues.
Rooms: Very comfy, clean, well kept and cozy. Great water pressure (shower) and lighting. Heat and cooling always working. Bonus love the kitchenet in our room makes cooking and relaxing much easier
Nearby activities: Restaurants, Bars, shopping, and much more
Safety: You feel very safe here no issues
Walkability: Great to walk to work and a little river near by
Food and drinks: Great breakfast selection and free wine and salad on Wednesdays!!!

Great hotel and experience! Our stay here was perfect. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room were very clean. My kids had fun in the pool which was good size.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom which was roomy and perfect for a family of 5! The breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again!
