Not recommended. Total bait and switch. Our price increased 3 times after initial estimate and paying the deposit. Movers who picked up said they don’t accept responsibility for damages after the initial contact via phone said they did. The movers who delivered (different company btw) demanded additional money in cash. Very suspect.

We used this company to move from Chicago, IL to Jacksonville, FL. We decided to used the company because of a recommendation and good reviews. After reviewing some horrible reviews I know our experience wasn't too bad. I really think that 2.5 is more accurate for the rating. When the movers came to pack items the first day they left some trash ie: empty tape rolls, used cup, tape, empty can. The movers did work hard for several hours. However, I shouldn't have to clean up behind them. The second day of packing was fine and no trash was left behind because I checked before they left. I highly recommend everyone to have a survey done and to obtain a written estimate to alleviate the shock that I received of about $2,500 more than the original quote. The truck used to pick up my items was not the same truck used for delivery. The truck appeared older with no company signage. Also, the crew were not employees of the company but individuals the driver hired. Some items were taken apart for transport and not put back together. Several boxes were smashed and they were stuffed in the truck. Fortunately, we only had two items that were broken, and we didn't bother to file a claim. I was appalled that they required us to sign several documents stating we received our items in good condition and pay the balance before they would unload the truck. Keep in my the balance was minimal compared to the total amount.

You get what you pay for - so if you don’t wanna pay an arm and a leg for “full coverage insurance” expect your items to show up damages and destroyed. Horrible customer service. Unrealistic delivery quote with no follow through or communication. I wish 0 stars was an option.

We had to move from a third-floor walk-up and I was dreading how long it might take. But they managed it with steady effort, never once complaining or dragging it out. Every box, chair, and dresser was wrapped or padded. I checked afterward—no dents, no broken corners, nothing left behind.
