I came here to return some kicks that I got for Christmas. My wife ended up getting me a second pair so I didn't need this one. The return date was passed but they did honor the purchase because it was during the Christmas holiday. They were very great to work with, the stores clean, they have ample stock and they're always willing to help

Not sure if I was walking into a corporate establishment or a club. Didn’t care for the vulgar language and music you’re exposed to when trying to shop at this place. Time and place for everything. Respect and professionalism out the window.

I would give them zero stars if I could. The professionalism of the management staff, is absolute trash! Instead of explaining their exchange policy cordially. They decided to be confrontational from the start, and make accusations. Which led to unnecessary stress on both ends. Usually I don’t write reviews, but this exchange bothered me to that point. Footlocker corporate handled the situation properly. Don’t waste your time or money at this particular store.

A Thank You -- Though I definitely should've posted this days ago, I was still in the chaos of packing for a long trip and I owe a tremendous thank you to Josh and Johnny at Footlocker. I ordered the NB 530's in a woman's size 8 online, and when they arrived, I was panicked to find out they were actually a men's size 8 with just 2 short days before I left for a trip out of the country for which these shoes were purchased in the first place! In desperation, I ran to the Lincolnwood, Illinois location and Josh and Johnny, the kind gentlemen working the store saved the day. When I got there, Josh was going above and beyond to find a solution. Meanwhile Johnny was simultaneously making phone calls to different associates at nearby locations. They were finally able to find a pair in my size. Josh figured out that the sku code was input the same for both the women's and men's New Balance 530 since it is a unisex shoe, and Johnny located two different pairs -- a woman's 7.5 and 8 (close to my size) that would fit my size and I was really heart warmed at the amount of effort and empathy they had for my situation and the sense of urgency with which they acted! Johnny also went out of his way to pick up the shoes from a Chicago location, and drop it off at the Woodfield location (at my convenience proximity-wise) so I could grab them by the next day in time for my flight! I was in real awe of my experience at this location, and I am extremely thankful. Least I can do is leave a meaningful review and praise Josh and Johnny at the Lincolnwood location! Wish all stores had more compassionate representatives, they set a great example.
