UPDATE 2022 0704: We had a half baked Lou's Special with carryout, it was good as always. We went here for dinner. I had the deep dish sausage pizza with butter crust. There pizza was great. Cooked just right. There crust was crunchy. The sauce was excellent, tangy and sweet. There sausage had a great flavor. The people were nice, though they could have been a little more attentive. It was crazy busy Sunday night, but we only had contact with the waiter times.I would return again.Bicycling: The roads aren't that bad to get there. Also, I think a trail is going on along an old rail line nearby. There is no bike parking and no where to eat outside.

During my childhood, I came to Lou Malrati's Pizzaria, and I left to westcoast. One thing I missed was Chicago dip dish pizza. Just came back for more with my family. Get calamari and mozzarella cheese sticks to begin your journey. ?

Hands down the best pizza I have ever had! The true Chicago Malnatis Classic deep dish pizza is amazing and is pictured in this review. Our server was spot on with any need we had and would serve our pizza to us and boxed it up at the table to take home. We live 3 hours away but I will have no issue driving there when I want the best!

You really can't beat the original location. Best Lou Malnati's in the city, hands down. Dare I say, best pizza place in the city, too! Everyone has their preferences, but you have to admit that both their deep dish and thin crust are world class. The people who work here are also exceptionally kind and have an old school Italian (but not out of place nowadays) view of customer service. You can tell that the Malnati family really, truly care about what they do.And really, if they can do both thin crust and deep dish so well, not to mention all the other things they do, is it controversial to say they're the best?I don't know, but I've lived in Chicago my entire life and eaten at so many damn pizza places and if someone asked me where they could get an authentic Chicago pizza, whichever style they wanted to try, I don't know where else I'd feel as confident recommending.Parking: There is ample parking in their main lot, as well as overflow parking in the bank across the street in the evening.parking for pickup orders is its own lot and is very convenient to access. Compared to most places around here, you will find parking quite easy to come by.

During my recent visit to Lou Malnati's Pizzeria in Lincolnwood, I encountered a unique situation—I'm unable to consume cheese. Despite this dietary restriction, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of my special-order pizza. For those facing similar challenges due to lactose intolerance, this location offers a wonderful solution.I opted for a customized deep-dish pizza with extra sauce, tomatoes, and onions, cooked to perfection. Crafting a pizza without cheese while maintaining flavor and texture is undoubtedly a difficult task, yet the staff at Lou Malnati's executed it flawlessly. Each bite was a delightful blend of savory sauce, fresh toppings, and a perfectly baked crust. For anyone unable to enjoy traditional cheese-laden pizzas, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this establishment. You can still indulge in the authentic pizza experience and savor the delicious flavors without compromise. In my opinion, it deserves a resounding five-star rating for accommodating diverse dietary needs while delivering exceptional taste and service.
