Hastings Lake YMCA is a friendly and affordable community facility focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The staff is consistently described as extremely friendly, helpful, kind, and incredible, making the atmosphere welcoming. The pool is a major highlight, noted as great, very nice, and kept very clean with attentive lifeguards. Swim lessons are super affordable and well-loved by children. The facility itself is really nice, set in a wooded area with pleasant scenery. Recent remodels of the fitness center and locker rooms were done very well. Some members note it is small compared to other YMCAs and wish for a larger workout area or additional studios, as current group exercise spaces are considered too small. Overall, it is considered one of the nicest YMCAs with a fantastic, community-oriented staff.
