After reading all the 1 star reviews about the customer service at this branch and services. I should have not bothered to visit this location. I would not recommend any one use the ATM here either. The ATM malfunctioned and did NOT give me my funds after hours. I returned to the bank as soon as they opened with evidence showing that the money was withdrawn from my account but cash was never dispensed. I was told I could not be assisted as they do not service the ATM and that because the account that was used was not BMO they wouldn’t be able to help me at all. Now I have to dispute the transaction and wait for my money to return. No accountability, unhelpful, inconsiderate.

I have had such a wonderful experience with the staff and management at this branch. I've recently called this location to get assistance over the phone and Jessica was very friendly and was able to address my request effortlessly. Although there is a BMO in Downers Grove, I am willing to drive a little bit further to Lisle and get their excellent customer service. A special thank you to Jessica and manager Robin for their exceptional care!

This branch is a joke. I'm a newer client and It's always the same male teller. He's very slow. We waited over 8 minutes for assistance even though we were there first and dialed with no one ahead of us. We were ignored and the other person who had just pulled up was helped first. Even though he had my check and id in the building now.We then waited more time ( 10 more minutes) for him to finish helping the other person. Finally gets to us asks no questions, deposited money into the wrong account and was just rude. This is the second time he's ignored me and assisted another before me even though I was in line waiting first and messed up my depositing account Done with this place.

As a customer that has done business with Harris Bank for almost 3 decades, I am leaving a 5 Star review not because they are perfect, no one is. I am leaving a 5 star review because as an owner / operator of two 33 year old businesses, I have noticed the recent addition of a dedicated bank manager Julie Caballero. Julie has brought a new dedicated management spirit to what was already a great group of people. Please understand that as a business owner who has managed teams of as many as 35 people in my 33 year career. In conversations with Julie, since she has started working at this location together I have noticed that she understands the value of teaching the team how to provide excellent customers service the way she provides it. My belief is you want your team handle every interaction the way you would as a leader. Once your team is focused on the same goals, you as leader can focus on new innovative ways to come up with solutions to improve employee environment, plus have time to listen to your team feed back, then use that information to come up with creative solutions to provide the best product possible to the customer. Its a Win ! Win ! for everybody.. As a customer when you go into this location be patient and understand there is a leader in place working very hard with a great passion striving to provide a great product and service " Remember we are all just people in this world trying to make it though life with the skills we have learned along the way "

This Downers Grove bank made me wait 20min in drive thru to cash 6 checks and then afterwards informed me the fee was $10 per check. Some of the checks were valued at less than $100. This is predatory, and not the behavior of a reputable mainstream bank. This is why I bank at a small family owned local bank.

Not a bank for regular working people, it's impossible to ever walk in and bank with them, their hours don't allow for a 9-5 person to walk in ever. No coin counting, they'll give you sleeves but who counts pennys and rolls them anymore? It's 2019 c'mon! The drive thru ATM isnot for big SUVs or pick-up trucks too narrow.

Been going to this bank for years and have dealt if its not disrespect its waiting 20 mins. They blame there mistakes on them not listening. I'll be closing my account with BMO because of this branch.

What a useless bank. My wife and I applied for a car loan for our daughter who is going to college and got denied with no explanation even though we have spotless credit and 17 year home ownership. We got our car loan from Chase instead. I have closed our 6 year old checking account with bmo. Why are you people in business? This is not a review of the branch but of the Bank itself.

I am so sad to write this review. We have been a customer for well over 30 years. I strongly believe our privacy was violated on our account. I contacted the bank immediately and have called them numerous times but only to get voice mail and no return phone calls. This has been going on for over a month now. I contacted an online complaint only to get the run around and no resolution at all. I guess they have headquarters only in Canada so it is hard to reach any type of management tier. Most disappointed with their customer service and I would certainly choose another bank to do business. Since this is a business account we have had for more than 30 years, it is extreme ly costly and difficult to severe ties.

What a rubbish bank. My husband is a business owner for last 10 years. A BMO loan officer contacted my husband to apply for a Business Credit Card so he did. My husband's FICO score is 710 and they still declined him after they were the ones approaching him. We have been banking with BMO for 4 years, I cannot imagine how they must treat new customers. The woman who talked down to my husband on the phone said they are "an Elite" Bank, insinuating that we are beneath them. Go into one of the branches and see how crappy they are. Elite my behind. They just lost our accounts, $700k went through the 2 accounts every year, they won't have our business ever again.

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would - Let me first say, I was a customer for 8 years and 2 months. Now, Thursday, I did notice I was $2.90 short on payment. So at 9:50 CDT, I put a deposit in, for $100 cash via the ATM machine. I thought that would have taken care of my issue - and it should have. The next day, about 4 pm, I found that the one payment I was short was returned. I called the customer service line, where the "gentleman" and I use that term loosely, was uncooperative, indicating because I didn't deposit the money by 6 pm, it would count on next day's business. By the way, Chase bank, would have honored the deposit, as long as it was in by 10 pm. He was totally rude about it, and I then said, "well obviously we aren't going to get anywhere..." so the next day, I went into the branch, explained the situation, was told there was nothing they could do.

I've been going to this branch for many years, my whole family has accounts there though I no longer do. I always used to go in (maybe once or twice a year) and bring in change that I collected in my ashtray and have them run it through their coin counting machine. When I went to the teller she asked if I had an account. I said I no longer do. She said she can only count the coins through the machine for people who have an account. Nevermind that I have been going to this exact branch for 25years. But this is the sad state of our country now. I will not walk in again. I will never open an account with them. There is no obligation to serve the community and attract accounts. As I said before this is the sad state of our country. And I had been in here to have them count change many times even when I no longer had an account. Oh and by the way there was not a single customer inside, I was the only one. Not like I was taking someone else's time.

Worst bank ever! 10 bucks to cash a check they issued! Then I have to wait for them to verify if their check is good? Bmo is the worst bank l!!!
